I am somewhat addicted to buying heavily discounted boots from Amazon, because the deals are great, the super saver two day shipping is great, and I can get cool brands/styles that I can''t find in the town where I live. Often, though, I end up sending them back because they just aren''t quite right. These are keepers -they are very comfortable and look very cool. I have skinny calves and that''s one of the reasons that boots often get sent back-because they are too big in the calves, but these were fine (in fact, I would think they''d be hard for someone who doesn''t have skinny calves to get on, but since another reviewer had the opposite prob, maybe it just varies from pair to pair). I got the black, and the leather is nice -kind of textured but not too much. The shoe part w/the whole wedge thing going on looks a lot less extreme in person than it does in the picture, and even though they are high the platform makes them ok to walk in. The one issue I had is with the zippers on the side of the boots -they seem kind of flimsy and don''t track too well, and I am worried that I''m going to end up jamming one or ripping it out of the boot trying to zip them up. But ... I still like them a lot, and i am definitely keeping them. Although I am returning the 7 for all mankind black suede fur lined boots I got in the same order .... they hit right under my knee, which just didn''t work. Other than that they were real nice, and a great deal.

First i was unsure about buying boots on line without trying them on. When i saw them i fell in love!! Sound crazy right? I had to have them. Best pair of boots yet. They fit perfectly, they are comfortable and most of all The compliments that i get. Just wish they came in chocolate brown i plan on buying another pair for next year. it''s the perfect combination of Wedge and tall boot. I''m short so they make me feel TALL!!!

I received these boots and was so excited to try them on but unfortunately they were too narrow in the front. I wear a normal size 6 1/2 and these fit smaller than a 6.5 M.

The material seems to be leather but the Made in China sticker makes me think otherwise.Are they unique in style yes but the bottom of the boots fell stiff, tight and heavy while the upper calf portion fits very wide and big. It''s good if you want to push some jeans inside but you can throw a pair of pj''s under the jeans and still fit them in the boots, that''s how extra wide they are.

Overall they look cool, and the quality seems okay but not well constructed.
