These are among my favorite summer shoes.I have at least 6 pairs of various Keen styles.I love the comfort, and the toe-protection.They support better and contour to your foot better than a flip-flop; can be worn in water, on the boat, with casual clothes, and are very comfortable for walking.I have hiked in rain-forests, and walked on city streets with NEVER a blister or discomfort.This style does have a flip-flop type of toe separation inside (not visible when worn), but it does not rub or cut.These sandals do not slip around on your foot.The blue-color is denim friendly, but works like a neutral.They last well, even when worn on the sand or water.Well worth the cost, yet less than many similar styles found in boating stores.

About 2 years ago my Waimeas broke, both pairs. I had them for about 8 years so they''d lived their life. For the past two years, I''ve been looking for a replacement. I really just wanted another pair of black Waimeas but they no longer make them. So, I finally broke down and bought these. When they arrived I LOVED them. They are much more stylish (as stylish as you can get with these shoes) than my plain Waimeas.

I''ve had them since June and the stitching is starting to unravel in some areas. And, they are not as comfortable as my other shoes. How is that even possible? They''re Keens! I love Keens but by the end of the day the side of my foot is aching. So sad because I pretty much wear Keens from May until November (I''ll even wear them in the rain).

I bought these because I recently tripped and cracked a rib. I was told that open toed sandals are the main reason for trip & falls among women. These work great for me. I was concerned because I don''t usually wear sandals with a thong between the toes, and I was afraid I would get blisters. there is no rubbing anywhere (and I have a bunion). My regular size was perfect. I liked them so much I ordered a different style with no thong. I had to return them for 1/2 size bigger, and they are OK, but I don''t like them as much. The Portico''s also look better. I will probably order another pair in a different color.

I liked the shoes and really wanted to keep it but it was a little tight across the top and were digging into top of my feet.The foot bed is really comfortable and I liked the toe strap for more secure fit.I do have wide feet however.I called Keen and asked if it will stretch out in time and they told me a little bit.In the end it wasn''t worth putting my feet through pain to see if they will stretch. So I returned it and bought another Keen slide that was roomier on the top. I had no problem returning it through Amazon customer service.I am unlikely to buy shoes online that doesn''t come with free return shipping.
