Badgley Mischka Women''s Sanoma Embellished Lace Pump

I ordered these in blue.When they arrived, I was very impressed over the detailing.I have to say these are one of the most beautiful pairs I have seen (and believe me I''ve seen and currently own tons).

BUT, unfortunately they are not the most comfortable shoes.The biggest flaw: no platform.With 4.5" heel, the flat front caused my toes to really flatten and pushed down hard, making them wider also in the front and increasing the discomfort.A slight platform would have made these shoes absolutely perfect, but the lack of it was the reason I have to give 4 stars instead of 5.

I am keeping them because again they are super gorgeous, but I won''t be wearing them if I need to walk/stand for an extended period of time.

Upon receiving these shoes I was blown away by the craftsmanship -everything from the heels, to the souls to the delicate lace and beading is of the utmost quality.I was absolutely thrilled with the price I paid -I managed to snag these for under $50 because they were listed as "used" but were actually in perfect, unworn quality in a brand new box and dust bag, complete with a spare set of heel replacements.

The only downside to these beauties is that they run quite small. I am a women''s size 5 and I very rarely meet a shoe that''s too small -I ordered these in a size 5 and they fit very snug, especially in the toe. I can only squeeze my feet in these with stockings on, and even then I found myself taking them off throughout the night. I probably should have just returned them for a size 5.5, but for the price I paid I chose shoeicide.

Moral of the story, order a half size up and enjoy!
