Birkenstock Women''s Mayari Sandal

I purchased this sandal last summer. When I return home to Texas this is the sandal I take. It''s both feminine and stylish. I''m one of those who don''t care for straps between my toes so it was a surprise to me that these don''t bother me. My only wish is that I could wear these more often. I live in Washington State and with the rain and cold it''s always a treat when the sun comes out to wear these. The color selection is amazing. Be sure to use the cork protectant every 3-5 months to protect the outer cork and these should last several summers to come. The ONLY reason I am looking for another pair is to satisfy the female in me to have another color to choose from. They are a dream come true and an awesome bargain compared to other models from Birkenstock.

I have PF and metatarsal stress syndrome.I bought these shoes and it took the pain away.I also like the looks of this sandal.You do have to break the shoes in and let your feet form to all the arch supports.I now slip them on the minute I get out of bed.If you have ever experienced Plantar Fasciitis, you know of the pain you feel when you step out of bed in the mornings.These shoes are magical,no pain, due to the arches built in the footbed.I love my Birkenstocks.

Very happy with shoes and service, much cheaper than I can buy in Australia and they are very comfortable. This is the second pair I have owned. I have arthritis in the knees and have to be very careful to find shoes that support my feet properly and do not strain my knees and in these I can walk comfortably all day.

My wife lives in Birks during the summer (and most of the other seasons as well). She wears them out. She has always worn the standard 2 strap standard model, but recently switched to this style that wraps around the big toe. She likes the look and they are as comfortable as ever. We''ll see how long they last; but knowing Birkenstock quality, I doubt there will be an issue.
