Franco Sarto Women''s Upton Boot

These boots are nice looking, but the shaft is a man-made material, not leather. I prefer leather for the look, the feel and the durability. This boot is very light weight, the shaft is very thin and limp. Too bad they weren''t leather because I really liked the look. The heel height was perfect not too high, but high enough to be fashionable. And the price was good too. As always, Amazon got them to me in very speedy time, and dealt with the return process just as speedily.

I have thin calves and have a very hard time finding fitted boots. These fit perfectly! I normally wear a 7.5 and that''s what I ordered. The fit is good, a little tight across the balls of my feet, but my toes aren''t cramped even though the boot has a fairly long pointed toe. I''m hoping they will stretch a bit as I wear them. I think an 8 would''ve been a little too big all over. I should say that I tend to only wear tall boots with skirts, not over skinny jeans. Because these are so fitted, I don''t know if they would be too tight over jeans ... maybe jeggings would work. But seeing as I''m 42 and have given birth to two children, I don''t own jeggings. I can''t attest to their comfort yet either. They just came today, so I haven''t worn them yet. I was just so excited that they fit my stupid toothpick calves, I couldn''t wait to review them!

I am a flat-heel shoe person but I make an exception for these boots because they''re not too high, quite comfy, and stunning. I wear them for dress yet they could be worn for everyday, they''re that comfortable. I ordered my usual 6.5M and they fit like a glove. One caution: If the largest part of your calf is any more than 13-1/4" around, like mine, don''t order these boots as you will not be able to zip them up. And unless your calves are sticks, forget tucking them into pants. But if you are 13-1/4" or smaller, ORDER THEM. Great price for a very nice boot. The red is not bright, but deep & classy. The cognac is beautiful. (Yes, I ordered both.) Amazon had them here in 2 days.

Recently received these boots in black I normally wear a 7.5 in Franco Sarto and so, these fit perfectly.Roomy in the toe box.I like having a side zipper.These are very stylish but comfy as the heel is not too high.I have average-sized calves and they are great.If you have heavy or muscular calves, you might find the shaft a bit too tight.Really happy with them and will likely get the mushroom color next.

Great looking dressy boots, and soft, even though they are not leather. Calves fit closer and tighter than expected, as I am a small person, but they do fit, which is my only reason for a 4 instead of 5 stars. Measure your calves before you order.
