Merrell Women''s Avian Light Flip Sandal

These flips seem to run at least a half size too small. They are really good looking and cushioned, but the straps cut into the top of my feet on the big toe side. I liked them so much I wore them for a week trying to stretch them and by then I couldn''t return them. I generally wear a 7W, but a 7 in flip flops usually works, but not these, and the 7.5s were sold out. I''m still trying to break them in, they tend to hurt more when I first put them on and get better but still not good. I ended up buying some Tevas in a 7.5 that feel good. Still I give them 4 stars because if they fit, I''m sure they''d be stellar, well made and very cushiony.

Living where it is still 100 plus degrees in October, Flip-flops are an essential part of a wardrobe.These shoes replace an older version of Merrell flip-flops I have.I do not like these as much as the strap across the top is too narrow.This forces my foot to grip the shoe more and causes foot fatigue sooner.The sole of the shoe is also a little on the thin side for me, I prefer more of a tennis shoe thickness and I feel Merrell has thinned it out a little too much on the front side.

I appreciate them trying to go for a more feminine shoe and it does look nice but it would have been nicer with the above mentioned changes.

Durability thus far is great and after a few months they still look new.

Would I buy them again? yep.

Would I recommend them to a friend? I already have.

I love these sandals!

They arrived in perfect condition and were just as shown in the photos. The shoes look very feminine on and are a good height. There is ample padding in the shoe sole of the shoe and the cork heel is very light so they are easy to walk in. For me, they are true to size and feel very nice when I''m wearing them.

My only issue, and this is minor, is that the color is not a true red; it''s more of a subdued orange red. It''s not that it looks orange, but when placed next to several red tops I have, the shoes have more of a slight yellow color to them. But since the sandals will be on my feet and not right next to the tops or dresses I''ll wear, I''m okay with the color, especially since the shoes are so comfortable.

These boots are nice looking, but the shaft is a man-made material, not leather. I prefer leather for the look, the feel and the durability. This boot is very light weight, the shaft is very thin and limp. Too bad they weren''t leather because I really liked the look. The heel height was perfect not too high, but high enough to be fashionable. And the price was good too. As always, Amazon got them to me in very speedy time, and dealt with the return process just as speedily.

I have thin calves and have a very hard time finding fitted boots. These fit perfectly! I normally wear a 7.5 and that''s what I ordered. The fit is good, a little tight across the balls of my feet, but my toes aren''t cramped even though the boot has a fairly long pointed toe. I''m hoping they will stretch a bit as I wear them. I think an 8 would''ve been a little too big all over. I should say that I tend to only wear tall boots with skirts, not over skinny jeans. Because these are so fitted, I don''t know if they would be too tight over jeans ... maybe jeggings would work. But seeing as I''m 42 and have given birth to two children, I don''t own jeggings. I can''t attest to their comfort yet either. They just came today, so I haven''t worn them yet. I was just so excited that they fit my stupid toothpick calves, I couldn''t wait to review them!

I wear them for dress yet they could be worn for everyday, they''re that comfortable. I ordered my usual 6.5M and they fit like a glove. One caution: If the largest part of your calf is any more than 13-1/4" around, like mine, don''t order these boots as you will not be able to zip them up. And unless your calves are sticks, forget tucking them into pants. But if you are 13-1/4" or smaller, ORDER THEM. Great price for a very nice boot. The red is not bright, but deep & classy. Recently received these boots in black I normally wear a 7.5 in Franco Sarto and so, these fit perfectly.Roomy in the toe box.I like having a side zipper.These are very stylish but comfy as the heel is not too high.I have average-sized calves and they are great.If you have heavy or muscular calves, you might find the shaft a bit too tight.Really happy with them and will likely get the mushroom color next.

For years I''ve been trying to find a suitable replacement for my new balance 676sI started with the NB minimus life casual/walking shoes last year. The soles were ground down to nothing in some spots in under a year of use, so I needed some new shoesenter the 574s.

I''m no stickler for fashion, so I keep things pretty plain and neutral. This shoe met those specs awesomely.

It doesn''t feel like there is a lot of supportthese shoes don''t seem like they''re intended for walking any sort of extended distance. My first day with them I went and walked a couple miles to get a feel for them and I never got comfortable. About a month of use later I took them to a 3 day music festival which required frequent walking between venues, and my feet felt exhausted at the end of the day.

However, for light to moderate use, these things are fine and I''ll stick with my running shoes for doing anything extended.

I''ve had this shoe for about three weeks and can say it is a very pretty boot, with a nice, approx 2 1/2 inch heel.It has a nice range of casual to dressy, and is comfortable to walk in, though it does lack arch support.I recommend ordering 1/2 to 1 size larger if you want room for an insole, as the toe area isn''t very tall.It also runs a bit wide in the heel & midstep, but not wide in the toe.The brown has a bit more of a reddish tint than my computer monitor indicated; I wouldn''t describe this as a truly chocolate color, if that is what you are looking for, but it has a good sheen.

I was very pleased with the look of these boots however, the leather is not of the best quality, nor was the sole of the boot thick enough.You know how soles can be so think on boots that your feet just ache from feeling like you''re walking on the pavement without shoes at all.Well that''s how these feel.I ended up having to spend a TON of money to have them redone on the bottom.Plus they were rather expensive for the sole problem and the leather quality.

I am a die-hard Naturalizer shoe wearer. I''ve bought at least 10 pairs of Naturalizers over the past few years and I always love them. I purchased "Vision" in the black leather.

These shoes are MUCH prettier in real life than in the picture, I was very pleased when I took them out of the box. The metal-capped bow is quite charming, and the shiny toe looks very dressy. I''m a professional classical musician, and I wanted something I could wear with khaki pants on the weekend, or with a black dress for performances. These shoes will be perfect for me!

They do tend to run a bit narrow-I normally wear a 10w, so that''s what I ordered, and they were a bit snug across the instep. They are leather, so I know they will stretch with wear.

I wore those sandals for three summers now almost every day. I am a shoe girl I sold shoes at Macy''s for 2 years and I have seen a lot of good sandals, but those really became my favorite. Those sandals are supposed to feet loose, so I would suggest to get a size that you normally wear in Merrels and not go down. They are comfortable when they are loose, but if you get a smaller size they might rub on your feet. They do pick up some dirt (because of their loose fit) when you are out in the wild. I just try to wash them time after time with a wet cloth and wash my feet when I come back from such walks. But the great part about them is that they look nice and feminine with either shorts/pants or dress/skirt. They kind of have a look of original "ancient greek sandals" and together with that they give a comfort of a Merrel shoe in which you can walk for miles and not get tired. My pair is black, so it goes with everything. Mine never broke, bit I have to say I do not mess up with the buckle since I bought them. I adjusted the buckle once and since that I just slip them on and off, which I would recommend to everybody. The sole held up pretty well too. The front of it is now after three seasons of wear finally getting pretty thin, so it is probably a time to get a new pair... I walked in those sandals for miles and miles as I do a lot of walking, hiking and traveling. This style is a real steal!!!

Last summer I bought a pair of these in black. The comfort was pure bliss and I received many compliments on the style. I''m tempted to buy another pair, but these sandals just did not hold up, especially disappointing given the relatively high price. Within a few weeks the elastic connection on one shoe''s side strap broke and had to be stitched. A few weeks later the same thing happened to the other shoe. The shoe repair shop where I bought them was pessimistic about the repair lasting, calling it a "design flaw," and tried to charge $8 to fix them until I pointed out I had bought the sandals from the very same shop less than six weeks earlier. Now the leather has stretched out so much these sandals are way too loose to wear safely for a second summer.I''m disappointed with the construction of this style, but plan on checking out the newer styles, hoping these construction weaknesses have since been corrected.

I love the comfort and style of this shoe.However, after wearing them for the 2nd full day, the strap by the left instep became detached. I was able to repair it myself with a sewing machine, but still...

Regarding sizing, you may want to consider ordering a half to one full size smaller than you normally wear.The size that fit me best was half a size smaller than my normal size, and was still slightly too large (but a better fit than going down a full size).

My only other concern is about the covering on the top of the bottom (the part that makes contact with the bottom of your feet).Comfy, but also picks up dirt very easily.Make sure your feet are clean all the time, or you''ll end up with black marks in the shape of your feet.So, would be a good sandal to wear shopping, going out to dinner, etc.But not for wearing around the garden, park, etc., where you might pick up some dirt or sand.

On the plus side, they are very comfortable, and much more stylish and feminine than other "sportier" types of sandals.Given the fact that they pick up dirt so easily, and that I had some problems with durability, I wouldn''t call them sports sandals, though.I don''t think Merrell classifies them as such, either, but I had in mind that they''d be heartier than average, coming from Merrell.

I bought a pair of these sandals in black to wear on a summer trip to Italy in 2008.I wore them constantly with casual skirts and dresses while I walked the streets, toured the ruins, and dined in outdoor cafés.I like the sporty comfort; the style will work well for women who want a lightweight, slim-packing sandal for comfortable walking that will straddle the middle ground between an every day casual sandal and one that can pair with slightly more dressy outfits.These are best for urban, suburban wear and park strolling and wouldn''t be the right choice for intense off-pavement hiking or sports or with really dressy outfits.Our trip is long since over, but I continue to wear these sandals frequently with jeans, capris/cropped pants, casual skirts, and casual summer dresses.

I noted other some other reviewers having problems with the strap.I haven''t had that problem.I fitted the strap once when I purchased them and never adjusted it.I slip the heel strap up over my heel with a hooked finger.I wear these sandals slightly looser than usual so that during hot weather they don''t chafe if my feet swell.If I have an emollient cream on my feet, I have had a tiny bit of black dye stain the side of my big toe (but never if I haven''t applied moisturizing cream to my feet).When the sandals have become dusty while wearing, I wiped them with a damp cloth and they looked great again.

In fact, I like these sandals so much I am planning to purchase another pair in brown.

VERY comfortable.I have been wearing Merrell shoes for 8 years, and nothing is better for casual comfort and durability.I have 2 colors of Agave and use them in summer as my walking shoes, marathon shopping shoes, and great for airport too. True story=I was wearing these while grilling and a hot spark flew out from the coals and landed on my foot.The ember went between and then under my toesouch! It was love at first sight when I saw this shoe and I knew I had to have it.I was looking for a leather shoe and particularly was attracted to the stitching and color.I am not a ''white'' person, but love off-white. Although I was a bit confused by the picture as it shows the shoe more white, but the shoe is more like the title and ''buff.''

The shoe has nice internal padding on the ball and heel of the foot.The leather is a bit stiff, but as I am wearing them, they are breaking in quickly.It is true to size and the heel is not killer, but nice.Classy but comfortable.

The contrasting stitching allows for dressing up or down.Can you tell I like them?

I bought these ''review blind,'' which is something I almost never do, as I don''t want to waste money on something I might not like or that won''t fit well, but since Amazon has a good return policy, I decided to chance it.

Dansko Women''s Tory Sandal

These are nice-looking shoes, but not very comfortable, especially compared to other Dansko sandals. The wedge heels are much higher than your average Dansko wedge heel, and my feet are very sore if I wear them for more than a few hours. Great shoes for someone who doesn''t mind high heels though.

The sandal is super-cute and great color.Love the cutout in the heel.

The only not-so-great to be aware of is that the fit is tighter than usual.I had to return my normal size and buy one size up.

BTW, the Amazon return process was so, so easy.Really felt like outstanding customer service.

The underside of the woven straps is kinda rough, so I have been wearing with nylons until they soften up.

But Danskos are solid, dependable, very comfortable shoes.

This is my third pair of Dansko Tory shoes. I have a black pair, the grass green pair and now the red ones. They are so comfortable and I love the braid trim. I can''t shop all day in them, because my feet will begin to hurt after a few hours but if I''m at my desk all day, I can wear them for the entire day, comfortably. I highly recommend these shoes. Since I live in Texas, I can wear them late into the fall without cold toes.

I have been purchasing Dansko shoes because of problems with bunions and being on my feet a lot during the day. I can wear the shoe all day without

having any discomfort. It took a little getting use to wearing this style because the covered part fits the front of the foot snugly. The shoe stays in place, yet

it doesn''t irritate the toe area or top of foot at the openings. I normally wear an 8.5 medium. The 8.5 was sized correctly. I''ve worn with both dresses and pants.

I wouldn''t recommend for those with wide feet.
