I really liked the look of these shoes but wasn''t sure how they would feel.They are pretty high!The platform is about 1 3/4 in, much higher than any other platform I have.The wedge, at the highest part, is 5 inches.When you think about it, the ''heel'' isn''t that high, taking the platform into consideration.The footbed is very nice!It has a bit of a cushion to it, which completely shocked me.My first couple of wears, the strap hit the wrong spot on my big toe.I always try to wear new shoes around the house for a few hours at a time to get used to the feel and fit before wearing them out.So breaking them in this way, and finding the right adjustment, has made them a very comfortable and wearable shoe.I wore them out for a day of shopping but took a standby pair for when these started to hurt.I never had to change.

I am thinking hard about ordering the black.The brown is a beautiful ''luggage'' brown color.I wouldn''t suggest these for your first platform wedges due to the height of the platform and you definitely still need to use some care because if you tumble in these, it''s going to hurt!The soles are rubber, so not slick at all.That''s both good and bad.The bad part is if you don''t lift your foot (if you tend to drag your foot at all) it will catch on the floor.Be careful!:)Fit is pretty true to size.I normally wear an 8, 7 1/2 on occasion, and the 8 fit perfectly.

These shoes are beautiful!I love JS shoes & bags!!!These shoes however, are a bit on the narrow side and difficult to break in but I am trying!!!Super versatile.If you happen to have a wider foot (as I do) then I would go for a different shoe to save you pain from trying to break them in.

I LOVE these shoes.First of all they were MUCH less expensive on Amazon than on the Jessica Simpson website.The shoes are sexy and really give us short girls a lift but most important they are COMFORTABLE.LOVE LOVE LOVE I know I''ll wear them all summer long.I should have bought 2 pairs!

I think they are comfortable, but my favorite was that they fit my feet! I have a wide foot and was skeptical, but after reading that a fellow wide footer was able to wear them enough to break in, I figured I would give it a try (especially for that price). Very pleased!

the material is not so nice and are very hard for me.I consider beatiful and elegant but my feets are delicates and get hurt easily
