First, I am a woman though this may show my husbands name lol. These shoes are amazing. I have had the black patent for several months and anytime I want to add height, sass & some sexy that I can walk for miles in this is one of the pairs I faithfully reach for. This is my favorite Sam Edelman shoe & I have more shoes than a person should admit to. I wear these more than any other wedge I own and they still look new. I also have never worn these out without at least one compliment. Seriously, men & women both comment lol. The pics don''t do them justice. They are true to size. SOOO comfy. One of the only shoes I own that I never added foot petals to. They fit my feet perfectly with no loose or snug spots. I also appreciate the the solid panels of leather under the straps so theres no rubbing there. I can''t even say how much they are worth it. The little gold detail stands out and takes them up a level in class. I wear these with skinny jeans, bootcuts, cargos, dresses..they are so easy to pair with different styles. I''m ordering a backup pair because I know eventually I''ll wear these out, but it''ll probably take a long time considering how well they''ve held up.

I just received these shoes in the mail today. They are not as bright gold as I had hoped, they actually look more of a pewter shade, but the gold stands out in the light. The fit is a bit wide so I put some heel pads but they are still a bit loose. They are really cute & lightweight. The shoe isn''t really that high, because of the platform so it feels like you''re on a 2.5" heel. They are comfortable though. Not sure if these will go back yet.
