This shoe is not made of plastic like most of the other crocks. It''s a type of canvas and has a super no slip bottom.They are so light it is literally comparable to being barefoot.The padding in the shoe is better the any "air" shoe I have owned.There is one problem though, no half sizes. I usually wear a 10 1/2 and I read from other reviews that if you attempt to wear socks with them its too tight. I ordered a size 11 and they are just a bit to big when my socks are on, however, I still chose to wear these over any other shoe I have. I believe that a size 10 would have been too small with socks so keep that in mind when ordering, and thats something you should do right now. Lastly, they look very nice with jeans and stand out as looking like nice expensive shoes.
