These booties look great with tights and flatter my athletic legs.My feet are on the wider side and I am usually size 8.5, sometimes 9 because the width of my feet.I ordered these in 8.5 and they were a bit snug but were not uncomfortable.The zipper does jingle but I got used to it quickly.I also waxed the zipper so it was easier to zip up and down.

These boots are a classic style with a bit of a western flair and fit well. Ordered my usual 7 1/2. However the leather in the black color looked like an inexpensive plastic. I was disappointed in the quality for Sam Edelman.

These boots are wonderful!!!Love, love, love them.No breaking in required.Very good quality.The zipper in back jingles when you walk...kinda like spurs.

With so many booties out there to choose from, it took me forever to decide on a pair but unlike the other reviewer, I was pleasantly surprised.I have only worn them with little anklet socks, but have never had a problem as far as comfort or them digging into the backs of my heels.I wear these with everything and will probably end up getting them in black too!I also purchased the Dolce VIta Halle boots in black and after wearing them once, I was so much happier with this Sam Edelman pair.The Dolce Vita''s were tight and not as comfortable as these boots.

This shoe is beautiful and I was super excited about them. They fit pretty true to size (maybe a little on the smaller side) but my issue is that the zipper is SO LOUD. When zipped, the zipper kind of rattles and it''s like a bell is tied to your shoes. I saw someone wearing them unzipped so maybe that''s the way to go?
