I''m a big fan of Lucky Brand''s cork sandals as they give me a much-needed boost in height while being extremely comfortable... I was a little hesitant to try the Tessa sandal as the base isn''t made of cork, but heavy wood, and I was afraid the shoes might hurt my feet. But they were so cute that I had to try them anyway, and I''m SO glad I did! These shoes are SO comfortable! The insole is padded, the leather straps are soft, and the chunky heel makes it very easy to walk in these shoes. Love them to pieces!

Very sexy pair of sandals, the picture is exactly what you will get, the only thing you do not know until you actually received them is how heavy they are (that is why my 4*), however, what makes it a bit better is the fact that they are comfortable, unlike many heavy shoes I have, if you like very high heels (like me) this is the one for you, just keep in mind they are big-heavy-tall but absolutely stunning, I got the black pair and the first day I wore them with a mini jean skirt and it made my legs looks amazing!

I love these shoes! They are well-balanced for easy walking, crazy comfortable, look great with skinny jeans or a long swingy skirt, and aren''t a typical bright red, but a rather more muted dark burnt orange that works well with deep blue or purple toe polish. The tilt of the fore-sole prevents my foot from sliding forward--something that often makes heels torturous--and the straps are snug without being painful. They draw a lot of compliments: "where''d you get your sandals?" which leads to great conversations with fellow shoe lovers. If these shoes had a real wood sole, they wold have been perfect!

Living in New England, our 10 year old needed a pair of waterproof snow boots.We looked around at local stores and couldn''t find anything he was happy with (gotta love shopping with a 10 year old right?) I finally told him that I was done driving him from store to store and to find a pair online that he liked.He found these on another website for almost 30 dollars more than Amazon had them, so when we found them here for $60 bucks, and prime eligible, it was a no brainer.

He really likes the waterproof top tie that allows him to chase his friends through the snow without ending up with a boot full of water as was the case with so many other boots; he also likes the color scheme.We like the fact that they''re good sturdy boots, not floppy like many of the very cheap snow boots at Walmart or Target, and they will probably outlast his shoe size, perfect for a pair of hand-me downs or for a spare set should we have visiting little feet over when it''s time to play in the snow.

I ordered these Charles David "Stepa" Sandals in black and in size 5. At first glance they looked okay...until I got up close to really examine them. It appears the side of the sandals(the area immediately below the studs) contained "cut marks or scratches from the tool used to cut or trim the leather straps). Apparently the manufacturers must have bolted or screwed the leather straps in place before they cut them, and in the process must have inadvertantly left these "cut marks" behind.Also, one of the studs were screwed in at an angle and not straight down (making the screw depth too shallow), causing part of the material on the platform to "pucker."I wasn''t sure if the angled screw would eventually cause the platform material to "give" and break off.

Comfort wise...these sandals felt a little "clunky" maybe because the platform is made of a heavier material. There is also no padding for the sole of the foot, so it felt a little hard on my feet. Inevitably, I was left with no choice but to return them. I understand that there are instances of "maufacturing boo-boos," and this, I suppose, wasprobably one of them.Hopefully, the manufacturer and/or shoe designer is cognizant of these issues, and as such, has made it a point to ensure that their sandals are engineered to provide women wtih a sandal that is not only attractive and well made but also a sandal that is comfortable.

Even though I bought these shoes for my sailboat, I soon found myself wearing them everywhere. They are so comfortable, no shoe laces to deal with, they breath extremely well, they dry super quick, they have a thick removable inner sole and they do a reasonable job on a wet foredeck. They are dressy enough for business casual and cool enough to wear with shorts. Extremely versatile. Bought my first par at West marine, so this Amazon price is really good, I paid like $74.

Since the soles are made of special rubber mine do wear down at the heel more quickly than your average sneaker.

Not all Sperry slip ons are created equal, the Taupe Slip ons have the special sole and are higher quality than most of the generic slip ons, even though they look the same.
