Birkenstock Unisex Sydney Soft Footbed Sandal

I bought the antique blue, which looks as it does in the picture; navy blue with not too much visible antiquing. It''s not mentioned in the description, but I was sent the soft footbed, which is normally a few dollars more than the originals. Not a problem because they are VERY comfortable, and not as masculine as the Arizona''s. This is a great shoe for schlepping around summer concerts, festivals and flea markets when a lot of walking and standing is going on. These aren''t 6" studded platforms & won''t go with everything in my closet, but even a diva has to give her feet and the show shoes a rest. These are good to drive in and the neutral blue looks good with bold colored pedis too.

I have never worn a pair of birkenstocks before and I am sold. This particular sandal is wonderful. The bed of this shoe is leather and extremely comfortable as the arch allows support to be able to wear ALL the time without my feet hurting after standing. The shoe has begun to conform to MY foot, very nice after a long day standing. They are my slippers!

I am 54 yrs and a Medical person and I have much feet pain (metatarsaligia). I have heard about this brand and never wanted to wear these because they really aren''t a PRETTY shoe....but since the pain can be so debilitating I thought I would try them and I AM VERY PLEASED about how comfortable they are and has helped my feet pain. There is a breakin period of about 18 hours. I have 3 pair now and had to give most of my other shoes to the Goodwill. Really, foot pain peoples should give them a try :-) I am glad I did :-)

I am very pleased with my Dolce Vita shoes. The leather is very soft. The laces are leather, which gives the shoe class. I think the shoe is true to size. I have had no trouble wearing the shoes from new, walking several city blocks without any rubbing. They are a comfortable, good looking shoe that I wear with trousers for work. I clean them with a neutral shoe polish and a soft cloth, to preserve the leather.

Love these sandals. I saw where some felt the strap across toe was too tight. I did not have this problem. However, be warned! These heels are freaking high! I had to get used to them before I felt comfortable enough to venture into public. They are very simple yet sophisticated.

I needed to replace a pair of two strap sandals that I wore out. These were the perfect match, very similar to my old pair, though the heel is shorter. The heel is about 4.75 inch high, on a size 7. Very light and stable, definitely a plus! The square heel makes a big difference. The "suede" material is another benefit as your foot stays in place, and does not tend to slide forward. They run true to size. If you have a wide foot, I recommend buying a size, or half size bigger as the bottom strap is very narrow and since it manmade material, it does not stretch much either. I have a narrow foot, and it was a bit tight on me. After a couple of hours wearing the front strap began to bother some. Definitely an eye catcher, and they put your feet and pedicure on display! Gotten lots of compliments.

What the previous reviewers said about fit is truethe back of the heel is too big, causing your foot to slide out, but the toes are really too tight if you go down a half size. This is my second pair of Northside Men''s Burke sandals.The original pair were great.Soft rubber, flexible, well ventilated.I wore them every day.

When it came time to replace them I ordered the same shoe again.This time it''s now called the Northside Men''s Burke II ?This shoe has a much harder rubber compound for the soles.It''s less flexible, and less comfortable.The holes in the uppers are enough smaller than the original version that they don''t ventilate well at all in the toe area.So they feel very hot.

I''ve only had them a week (and worn them enough that I probably can''t return them), but they are headed for the recycling bin before long.

I don''t recommend these at all.

They have these groves at the sole, so they don''t slip and slide like some slippers and sandals.They also have these massage things on the foot bed. I had sandals that had those massage things that actually hurt, or were really annoying, but not these. They also have a nice arch. The construction/comfort was as good as some name brand that costs three to five times more. And if my last pair were any indication, they last a long time.

Even thought I have wide (E) feet, I went ahead and ordered the small, and prayed that they would fit. They were a little tight at first, but they expanded seemed to mold to my feet. This particular style is not dressy enough except for the beach or maybe grocery shopping, when you don''t care what other people might think. You can''t go wrong with Naturalizer, and these did not disappoint.I bought two pairs, one brown and one black, to replace two staples in my shoe wardrobe that I had totally worn out.I expect these shoes to get a lot of wear, especially since I live in a warm climate and can wear them almost year round.

Right out of the box at first I thought they seemed too narrow but the leather straps will stretch a little and mold to your feet.I wore them to work the first day and ended up walking quite a bit that day.No complaints at all.Very comfortable.

I like the style because it has a nice platform and heel height (I am short) but it isn''t so high that I feel like I am teetering.I''m way too old for Lady Gaga platforms but I still like to be a little bit taller with my shoes on.These are perfect.I will wear them a LOT!!Highly recommended.And the price is excellent, extremely reasonable.

I''ve been a fan of Naturalizer for a while, but I am a bit disappointed with my last couple of purchases. These shoes are comfortable, but after 5-6 hours on your feet they don''t hold up as well as I would like. After 3 months I am also showing signs of wear with the sole peeling apart. However, I am in a Caribbean country where the roads are badly paved, uneven pavement, etc, so the excessive wear and tear could be situational. I bought a pair of Danskos at the same time and I alternate these 2 pairs of shoes and the Danskos are holding up way better. These are ok, look nice with pants or skirts, fine for walking short periods of time, ie 3-4 hours, but if you need something heavy duty, this may not be the best shoe for you.

pediped Flex Jones Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)

I love Pediped shoes and these are my son''s 5th pair. Each one has been great. They wear very well and could easily be passed on to a younger child in still excellent condition.I have noticed that the tennis shoe styles are a little less durable than the all leather styles but still, very good. My son''s favorite color is green so he was very excited to have green shoes. These fit a little larger than other Pedipeds of the same size but I wouldn''t recommend sizing down because you may find it tough to get on. There is a thick elastic band (the cute striped part) that goes across the tongue of the shoe. It is a sturdy elastic that makes getting the shoe on slightly harder than an open style would be. I knocked 1 star off because the tongue tends to push down as my son puts his foot in so I do have to help him pull it up to keep it comfortable. I would really prefer for him to be able to put it on completely independently.Not sure why Pediped didn''t secure the tongue better. Other tennis shoes from the company have not had that issue.Not a deal breaker for me but in the interest of full disclosure, I thought you''d like to know. He gets a lot of compliments on his cool green shoes!

I have had some problems getting sneakers for my boys (4 years old).They both have feet more on the wide side and complained about every shoe I bought recently -"they are too tight".They liked a shoe I bought a while back but for some reason the velcro on said shoes wore out quickly and because the velcro area was wide across the front of the shoe one day boy #1 came home with his shoes taped on.Nice.So now we needed new shoes again.Anyway, I read that these have plenty of room in the toe area and that is correct.They get high marks from pediatricians which is also good to know.The color is adorable (green) and once you get the hang of them they are easy on and off.I say get the hang of them is because you have to make sure you keep hold of the tongue or it gets shoved into the shoe and that hurts according to boy #2.You also have to pay attention as to how you slip them on because the back of the shoe is stiff though not so stiff it bothers their foot and that can sometimes make it harder to get the shoe on an always moving preschooler.I bought a pair for one son and as soon as he put them on my other son wanted a pair of "cool" shoes too.I will probably buy them again in the blue so that we have back up shoes for summer.They are not cheap for a pair of shoes that will be ruined in a few months but they are worth it if your child will actually wear them and they are comfortable.I am not a fan of the sizing I always have to look up what is equivalent to my child''s size but that is not that big of a deal either.
