I purchased these shoes in both black and tan. I love them! They can go with almost anything because of all the colors in the shoe. I have received several compliments. I usually wear a 10 1/2 shoe but I took a chance and purchased the 10. They fit but they are a tad bit wide, I think I could have purchased a 9 1/2.

These are great, cute little shoes that I plan on wearing on my wedding day. They''re very comfortable and have a decent bit of padding in the bottom. My only complaint is they seemed to run a little small and I had to return for a larger size. Otherwise great!

Portlandia Women''s Helsinki Boot
I bought these boots because I wanted a boot without a 3+ inch heel. I am 6ft tall so I hate wearing high heels, but I love the feeling of a bit of a heel. When they arrived they looked as great as the picture online with a nice leather finish without having too much of a shine. I also commute in Seattle so being able to walk in downtown was a must. The first day I wore these shoes they felt a bit short in the toe area, but they do break in very quickly and now they fit perfectly. I have gotten many compliments on these boots and I have even now ordered another pair of Portlandia shoes. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a great boot without a super high heel.Be careful to select the correct size when placing the order! The default setting is in the WIDE sizes, not the medium sizes, so I accidentally ordered the wide instead of medium.
Bearing that in mind, the upper and the shank are still way bigger than expected, not at all the slim silhouette you see in the photos. The footbed, heel and toe cap were only a tiny bit wider than I needed (my feet are kinda in between M and W) but the upper part goes straight up from the top of the toe cap, and the shank is huge. I could fit my whole hand inside the boot, around my ankle, and it was still loose! I like a snug fit in the ankles and have narrow/medium calves, but this was ridiculous. I''m pretty confident that this wasn''t just because of the wide sizing; I also ordered another pair of Portlandia boots (Milano Gathered Bootie) which I got in the correct width. They were also quite loose in the upper and ankle, so that may just be the way this brand fits. Probably a great find if you have a high arch and/or larger ankles lucky you!
The footbed and walking comfort were great. I liked them enough that I''ve ordered another pair in medium in the hopes that they''ll fit.

Not only do these shoes look great, they fit great too. I ordered a size 5 1/2-6 (36) wide as I do have wide feet. They are slightly snug, but since I normally wear a 6-6 1/2 I was expecting that. I am able to wear a thin sock with the boots and am hoping they stretch out a little. I also ordered another pair of Portlandia flats to be worn without socks and those pair fit PERFECT! Comfortable and lovely,,,I actually broke my rule of not buying suede shoes (I live in Oregon) because I loved the profile of these. The suede is really soft, and I love the seam that runs around the front. I am generally an 8 (with a wide-ish foot) and the 39s fit well.

I live in Florida and wear sandals year round. I''ve owned dozens of pairs and these are the best I''ve ever worn at any price. They''re light, durable, easy to put on, dont'' fall off, protect my toes, don''t get waterlogged, dry quickly, and are so comfortable. It''s almost like going barefoot but with a nice protective sole and some cushioning that doesn''t fall off. I am about to order a second pair.How to make your sandals stop stinking: like all sandals, these start to smell after a few months. I put them in a kitchen size garbage bag then dump in a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and a spoonfull of baking soda and shake well for a few minutes. The peroxide and soda combine to form an industrial-strength destinking solution (google it) while killing the bacteria to boot. You''ll want to rinse well if you get the solution on your skin. I rinse the sandals with a hose and set them in the sun to dry.
bit worried since this style did not offer 1/2 sizes. I ordered the 9 m. Perfect fit. Put the pair on, adjusted the cords and have not changed anything since then. Great to wear outdoors and even better at the lake and boating. Can be worn all day and my feet do not hurt like they did with other sandals.

This is my second pair of Northside Men''s Burke sandals.The original pair were great.Soft rubber, flexible, well ventilated.I wore them every day.When it came time to replace them I ordered the same shoe again.This time it''s now called the Northside Men''s Burke II ?This shoe has a much harder rubber compound for the soles.It''s less flexible, and less comfortable.The holes in the uppers are enough smaller than the original version that they don''t ventilate well at all in the toe area.So they feel very hot.
I''ve only had them a week (and worn them enough that I probably can''t return them), but they are headed for the recycling bin before long.
I don''t recommend these at all.

Neil M Men''s Rome Slip-On Loafer
These are the most comfortable shoes in my closet. The only thing that feels more comfortable are my Birkenstock sandals. I have four pair of Neil M. Romes and will buy more if I can find them on sale. These are the ONLY shoes I have found that work well with custom orthotics. I have flat feet, and I used to run a lot, which resulted in some other foot problems. So I had to have a foot doctor make me some rigid and semi-rigid orthotics (for $400!). Well, they cause pain in just about every pair of shoes I have, except running shoes and Neil M. Romes. I wear my Romes at work all day, then when I get home, I''ll notice a couple of hours later that I''m still wearing them! That''s because my feet feel so good I don''t even notice my shoes. That NEVER happened with any other pair of shoe I''ve worn to work. I notice the Neil M. literature says their shoes are made to accommodate orthotics. If you don''t normally wear orthotics, and you find that there''s a little too much room in your Romes, just put arch supports in the shoes. The smooth leather Romes do show some wrinkles after you wear them a couple of times. The leather is soft, but they won''t look brand new after the first couple of wearings. The suede Romes seem to hold their good looks longer, but I know a lot of people avoid suede because you''re not suppose to get it wet.Buy Neil M Men''s Rome Slip-On Loafer Now

I own these shoes in three colors.What absolute comfort!Stability is also very good as your foot does not roll like with other slip-on brands.I''m regularly a size 10.5 in lace-up dress shoes and the size 10 fits perfectly.I would recommend ordering a half size down from lace-up sizes for this specific model.The leather is soft and softens even more with time and wear.You can dress these up with dress pants and a jacket or down with jeans.They are quite versatile.Moreover, they are made in the USA which I see as a big plus.They don''t wear down easily and last for years.Strong recommendation to purchase!

Don''t purchase from SoleConnect.After three months of wearing the brown shoe a handful of times, the rubber bottom began to separate from the upper leather part.I contacted the seller via Amazon and a refund or a replacement was refused because they state the return window closed.As mentioned in the original intact review above, I own three pairs of these shoes in different colors.There is NO problem with the shoes (tan and black) purchased at my local retail store even though I''ve worn them many more times.
I brought the shoes purchased from SoleConnect (along with the other two pair purchased at a local store) to a shoe cobbler who does work for Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.The store has been around the Washington, DC area for many years and is very reputable.He indicates that the shoes from SoleConnect are in his opinion junk and not the same quality as the other two pair of Neil M Shoes purchased in a local retail store.The repair cost is $25 for both the right shoe and the left shoe because both shoe rubber bottoms are peeling off the leather upper.Even then, the shoe cobbler is reluctant to say these will last.I''ve always praised Neil M Shoes and have many pair; however, I can no longer recommend this pair purchased from SoleConnect.Buyer Beware.

I bought these a few months back, and I am quite satisfied. These shoes are very comfortable, and do not require much breaking in. I highly reccomend trying these on. Also, the footbed is removable, making these easier to customize to any foot shape or size. I personally left it in, and added tongue pads and am very satisfied.

I''m wearing these shoes for the first time today, and they are super-comfy. A great look also: somewhat more dressy than most comfort sandals, so that I can wear them to work, with skirts...but also with jeans.
I wanted to write a review to make three points:
1) in the photos, it appears that the back heel strap has a velcro adjustment on the strap,but this is not the case (it is a faux tab, to visually match the real velcro adjustment tabs on the other two straps. So the heel strap is not adjustable; instead it has the little piece of elastic.
2) I agree with the other reviewers who recommended ordering a half-size larger, as the shoe runs small. I normally wear a size 9, but ordered a 9 1/2 in these, and they fit perfectly.
3)I disagree with the reviewer who said that there was not enough arch support. I have a very high instep, and almost didn''t buy these because of the perceived lack of arch support. However, I find that given the very cushiony insole and the design of the shoe (with a slight heel), my arches are supported well.
These shoes are perfect for me: very comfortable, stylish, and not too dressy or too casual. They seem to be well made, too....let''s see how long they last.

Each year I buy a couple of new pairs of Lia Bijou thongs.I wear them all summer long.Super comfortable, with that padded footbed.They run small so, as Nordstrom advises, order the next size up.They are SO comfy and the strap is long enough and wide enough too many thongs have a tight little strap on top that cuts into the top of my foot. These fit perfectly on my fat little feeties.
They are dressy enough to wear to garden parties and summer concerts, good with little dresses, dockers, jeans and slacks.

Years ago during a trip to Maui, I bought a pair of Sanuk sandals. They are the most comfortable, well designed sandal I have worn. The footbed is very wide and really protects the side of your feet. It is also very soft and conforms well to my feet. Those sandals finally came apart after years of wear/abuse. I searched for and found these. They offer the same design with a more fashionable look. They are a bit expensive, but if they last half as long as my original pair, they are worth it.

These looked nice when I first got them, and the fit is reasonably comfortable and true to size.However, I ordered them in late November, and with occasional usage in a reasonably moderate climate and wear in an office environment (i.e., I haven''t been slogging through snowdrifts or hiking in them), they are literally falling apart. The steams of the insteps are fraying, and most annoying is that those cute metal studs? The ones that are kind of the trademark of this particular line? Are falling out. Several are now missing from both shoes, which as you can imagine makes them look cheap and trashy.
I''m outside the return window or these would be going back.

These shoes are great -lots of height but totally comfortable because of the wide heel and platform.They are TTS -maybe a tad on the wide side through the footbed but the ankle strap keeps them secure.They are medium weight and while a whole day might be a little optimistic on the comfort, several hours is no problem.The leather is thick and there is a little bit of a break in period but not enough to cause blisters.This is my second pair of OTBT''s and these are more comfortable.Maybe the oddest thing about these shoes is the ''Mint" color -a very straight up chocolate brown -not even a hint of green.But perhaps the poor choice of name on the color is a reason that the "Mint" version is 40% less than the other two -a total steal on a great shoe.

These fit perfectly; I normally wear a 9 for sandals, got the 9 and they were just right; very comfortable right out of the box. Wore them for work about 4 hours the first day and they were fine. Also look great, received nice compliments on them. One note to make: another reviewer mentioned they were dark brown and felt that "mint" was an incorrect color description I was originally trying to find the OTBT Brookfield wedge in "mint" which I had seen an accurate color picture of in the Athleta catalog these are "mint"; just smooth leather vs nubuck, so the "moss"/green/brown is not so apparent in the Boone model, but actually a really nice color. Love them and a great price!
