A great sandal even better than the Betula brand it replaced.Why buy a Brand Name Birkenstock at three times the price. Both Amazon and the supplier Midwest are extremly customer orientated providing prompt and courteous service.Size a little awkward at first but they form fit your foot after a little wear.I will probably order another pair for a spare.As a side note I am a diabetic and these are the most comfortable shoes I have had my feet.
Now I have wasted about $35 and will stick to real Birkenstock henceforth.

I bought a pair of these about 5 years ago for $20 and wish I would have bought 5 more pairs.I quickly found out that they are the most comfortable sandals ever.I have flat feet and most sandals have a flat bottom causing my feet to ache if I walk very far but not these.These sandals have very nice arch support and after a while of wearing them, form to your feet.I searched everywhere for these sandals and all I could find was the original Birkenstocks.I finally found these on Amazon.I''m sure the Birkenstocks are just as nice if not better, but at $80-$100, these are a much better buy.

I needed new Birkenstocks bad! Between the new puppy chewing on them and how much mileage I was racking up they were worn out! So, I ordered a few pair. Today these came and a pair of "official" Birkenstocks.
I''ll give you the comparison:
Foot bed: Overall the same with a few minor differences. When I wear one of each (remember they''re newnot broken in in any way) they feel exactly the same. The leather on the Newalk is rougher looking than the Birkenstocks leather. The heel well on the Newalks is wider, but not deeper. The arch support seems to be exactly the same. The edge of the cork bed on the Birkenstocks is finished better seems to be a heavier coating (waterproofing maybe?).
The sole: Birkenstock has a sharper edge to the tread and says BIRK. The Newalk has more rounded edges with bigger tread and says Newalk. Otherwise, looks the same. Possibly the sole on the Newalk is a little softer not sure.
The uppers: I can''t compare them. The Newalk is leather (soft and flimsy like)and the Birkenstock is not (hard and stiff like). BUT.. both are equally comfortable. Buckles appear to be same quality and attached the same.
Someone mentioned the soles coming loose I''ve had that happen to my most expensive pair of Birkenstocks before. Ugh used a little shoe goo (glue), clamped them tight and let them cure. They continued to last for another year or more. The only problem was the sole shrunk a little, but was not noticeable to see or when walking.
Overall, I''m ordering 2 more pair for my older girls. Definitely worth more than the price.
Also, I ordered them from Shoozforu and they came the same day as my 2nd day pair from Amazon I was blown away... Never had that happen before.
UPDATE received the pair of Betulas I had also ordered. They are identical to the Newalks I got (except for the uppers). Same soles, tread, leather, finishing on edges, arch support, etc.. the Betulas just cost more.
Also, sizing WARNING when you order, be sure to check the product descriptions for the width size. Even though you may order a 38 M (medium) EU they might send you a 38 N (narrow) EU. It appears some sellers call the narrow equivalent to a US medium and send the narrow even though you have ordered the medium in a European size. SO annoying. If you order directly from Amazon they don''t seem to do that...

This is a really comfortable pair of sandals. I plan to walk many miles in them while on vacation, and I wanted to get them a bit before leaving to break them in. I was a little concerned about whether the toe webbing would irritate my foot, but I''ve worn them for a week and haven''t had any problems. The footbed is very cushy and absorbs impact while I walk. I''ve had a pair of Merrells before with a similar strap across the infoot that broke after a short period of time so I''m hoping that the design has improved and that it won''t happen with these shoes.

This is a great slipper! Since I have feet and knee problems-they offer support and comfort (I have 4 other pairs of slippers that I don''t wear--too flimsey for me) Like I said they are great and I will purchase a few more pair BUT make sure the velcro is secure!!!! I didn''t one night and the velcro opened and I steppped down on the top of the slipper and since the bottom is a hard rubber/plastic I thought I broke my foot. Thank God I didn''t but my foot was badly brusied and is taking a while to heal. So, this is just an FYI because I love these slippers BUT again make sure you have the velcro strap secure! My podiatrist understood what happened and it was my fault and I''m just writing this to maybe save someone else from the same situation I was/am in. Yes, I have them on right now. My foot is a 9-9 1/2 and the size 9 is just fine.The other 4 pairs of slippers cost over $120 and for the $59.95 for one pair of a quality pair is sooo worth while.. Hey you get what you pay for! Most of the time.ColleenI almost haven''t taken these off my feet since they got here a few days ago.I''ve got plantar fascitis and very pronated feet, and they''ve been getting worse since we moved to a house with all wood and tile floors.These slippers haven''t instantly gotten rid of my pain, but they''re definitely helping.I keep them next to my bed, and put them on before I stand up in the morning and now the pain is tolerable.I''m hoping my feet will start improving now that they''re properly aligned.

I received these for Christmas, so have worn them only 2 days. I thought there would be more of a cushion to them, but the support is worth passing on the cushion. The terry-type uppers and foot bed are spa-soft. Very nice. They do keep my feet warm even with their open design. With the adjustability, I can add socks if desired. The quality of the slippers appears to be very good. I needed them primarily because I like to cook, which means stand, for hours at a time on the weekends. I am 34 years old and am a long distance runner who suffered from plantar fasciitis and knee pain. I had been recently going to physical therapy for the pain, but was still having some trouble... until I got these. BCBGeneration Women''s Kaelin Ankle Boot
I had been looking for a wedge bootie for a couple of months and was having no luck in Toronto, so I ventured online and I found this super-cute pair of grey suede booties by BCBGeneration.I had read a few reviews on other sites and these booties had some good feedback, so I snagged the last pair of grey.The are exactly what I was looking for.They are surprisingly comfortable (the wedge is fairly high) and I have worn them to work a few times (I work in sales, so I am on my feet for the majority of the day).The velcro strap makes them easy to slip on and off, which I find a bonus if you are over at someones house (sucks to have lace up boots that take ages to take on and off).I am usually an 8.5 in shoes and these were no exception.
I would highly recommend these.

I generally wear a size 5 but I just couldn''t pass up on this style. I looked everywhere for a 5 but looks like smallest size it comes in is a 5.5. I have a hard time finding cute wedges, and so when I saw this style at Macys (in person) at the regular retail price, I decided to research and found it on Amazon for a better price. I ordered the black one. The material of the shoe is suede so it does collect a bit of dirt, but if you''re not planning on wearing it while on a hike (joking), then its not very obvious at all.It is a bit lose on me, as mentioned, I''m on the smaller end of size 5. I did use a thin shoe sole insert that I purchased from the local drugstore ($3) and since I wear thick socks, the fit and feel is ok. Its bearable but my feet still slide a bit in the shoe. Its comfortable enough to wear to the mall for the day and doesn''t bother me at all. The velcro makes it easy to slip the shoes on and off, and to me, it''s also a plus since I have really small ankles.
I pair this shoe with black leggings and long tunic sweaters, or grey leggings (or jeggings) with a black blazer, and always get compliments on my shoe from the girls in my office.
I would definitely recommend this shoe. The quality is great. The feel is good and it looks cute!

These sandals are very pretty and the heel height is perfect. I ordered them to wear with a dress at a beach wedding.They are a little hard to keep on my foot and that is the only reason I did not give them a 5 star. Wish they were a little more snug across the top so they would be easier to walk in. I am usually 8 1/2 but sometimes an 8. I ordered the 8 1/2 and my foot is at the end. I would say they run very true to size.

This sandal is really cute! I got the blush color, and am usually an 8.5 so I went tts. The knots on the back of the foot do dig in a bit, but the material is soft, so I think once I wear them more, the knots won''t bother me. Cute sandal, definitely worth the sale price!
