I actually really like these boots!!Everyone else is right... they don''t stay up... they definitely slouch after you walk ... however... i still like them.If you are wanting an over the knee boot... these aren''t for you cause they won''t stay up over your knee.I still think slouched... which with it not folded lands right under your knee... still looks cute with these boots... and they also look cute slouched and folded over.As for size... i''m not sure where ppl are getting that they are big in size (unless i got an odd pair)... i think the opposite... i usually wear an 8.5 in heels and some boots... and most of the time get a 9 in boots... especially flat ones... but since everyone (a lot of other reviews on other sites) said they are big i ordered the 8.5... and i think they feel like an 8... the 8.5 were just too tight for me... so much that i''m not sure if a 9 would be big enough so i''m sending them back and getting a 9.5... that way if i want to wear a thick sock or add a gel insole or something i can.Overall these boots are comfy and look like shown in the photo... except they do slouch. I got these boots as a present. They are beautiful, and so fashionable. I get a lot of compliments when I wear them.However they have one problem: They don''t stay up. Perhaps my legs are too slim, but I have tried everything, even rubber bands to hold them up.They slide and I end up walking with a slouch boot and I hate it!
If you have an idea to keep them up, they are nice and warm.

I usually don''t buy items that don''t have reviews written about it but I was desperate for some boots to wear in preparation for the rainy season....I only wear heels and the boots I had in my closet were outdated, worn out and ready to be trashed.I have been shopping on amazon (too lazy to go to the mall) like crazy for a week looking for the right boot with 3 criteria:
1. Boot opening MUST measure approximately 14" around as I have thick calves
2. Shaft measures from arch (which means the length from your ankle up to your knee) MUST be under 16"
3. Heel must be 2 1/2" or taller
Most boots I came upon didnt met my criteria, such as the shafts measurement from the arch were too long and/or the boot opening measurements were too narrow. I am a very short petite person with short legs... 4'' 10" to be exact (I KNOW!!!) so you can imagine how hard it is for me to find boots with the perfect length that won''t go over my knees and swallow me up.But when I came upon this boot, it just sung to me. It fit my criteria to the bone but the only thing was that it had no review....I had to decide if I was going to make this purchase on faith.I thought about it and decided to buy it.
I ordered this on 10/21 and received it on 10/26.The packaging came in the original box from the store packed into a bigger packing box with packaging foam in it.
I wore the boots the next day and boy I had so many compliments. The 10" works to my advantage as it elongates my short legs and makes me look taller.The design, with the front being taller than the back, was a plus and I loved that little detail...it made the boots look more badass.
The size 6M was true to size and fitted me perfectly.If you plan to wear thick socks, go a bigger size.I do wish I had gone a little bigger though since after the end of the day, my feet had swelled up after walking all day and it got a little snug but I am happy with this boot.So glad I bought it.

which I like and you can adjust the straps to make them a little tighter if you want. I would definitely recommend them. My size is usually 8 1/2 but on both pairs

I usually have to break in shoes, and my feet are sensitive, so I don''t know why the previous review would say these shoes cut her feet? I''m glad this was covered by Amazon, because these shoes did nothing short of disappoint me. I love Dolce Vita, but the cut in the shoes is very bad and will leave you with cuts on your feet if you are not wearing socks.... which completely defeats the purpose of these sandals...
