The good news:FOOT BLISS!These are simply the most incredibly comfortable things I have ever put on my feet.My feet are totally blissed out, and I''m considering moving to the Arctic Circle so I can wear them year-round.This is an outstanding product.

The bad news:after wearing them for a week or so (with cotton socks), the soles of my feet became badly irritated -I''ve never worn shearling before, and something in it disagrees with the bottom of my feet (odd, because I wear wool socks regularly).I despaired for my new-found bliss.

The GOOD NEWS:the product description doesn''t mention that the insoles are removable and -here''s the beauty part -WASHABLE.I scrubbed them down with a bar of soap under lukewarm running water, and dried them overnight.Whatever was in the shearling (lanolin? some processing chemical?) washed away, and I got my bliss back!

I''ll admit that I''m a Crocs junkie, so I''m a bit biased but I do love these!

Pros:

-The suede is soft and good quality.

-The heel dresses these up a bit more than other Crocs and makes it easier to wear pants that have a longer hem.

-Unlike the all-rubber mary jane flat style (not the ones with the holes, the ballet-style ones with straps), the toe area of these covered your toes so you don''t see any toe cleavage. I''m not a fan of that, and I was concerned that these might do that.

-Airy enough that my feet don''t sweat.

-Soft cushion of the crocslite base. I have rheumatoid arthrtis, so it''s nice to have that cushion.

Cons:

-The strap says Crocs on it. It''s the same color as the strap, so it isn''t super obvious, but it''s there. Unlike other models (like the Lady style of flats) that could pass for not being Crocs, these are labeled.

-I''m not a big fan of the contrasting color between the rubber and the suede, so I got the black. I don''t think the other ones look bad; they just aren''t my style.

Also, the heel is made of the typical Crocs rubber stuff, so they have a bit of bounce and give to them. I like that, but I just mention it because I know some people like a more solid, firm heel.

Great shoes, very comfortable, look nice enough to wear to work.I have always hated the croc look and croc fad, till I tried on a pair and realized how comfy they are.Well these are also, dare I say, cute, and much narrower than the croc clogs, so they don''t even look like crocs.They have a suede upper, too, so it doesn''t look like you are wearing plastic shoes.I like them so much I want another pair in lavender.The only drawback is they kind of squeak when you walk on hard floor surfaces, so you can''t wear them if you want to be sneaky.They are true to size.

I love Croc shoes but they have a tendency of not being a true fit when you get into an actual shoe. I first ordered a size 10 which is the size of all my other shoes. It was way too small, so I then ordered a size 11 and it was way too big. This is the third and last time I will order a Croc shoe online without having tried it on. The sandals are fine and other shoes that aren''t suppose to fit normal but Crocs need to get their sizing right. I was so excited to get my boots. When I opened them up I saw some scuff marks on them. I was still in love with them. Just disappointed in the marks, espically for pag $397.00 for them.

I have these in the brown and they are just the most fabulously beautiful boots. My regular size 7 was not available, but I wanted them so bad I went ahead and ordered a 6.5. I have other Frye boots and I figured I would be fine because so many of them fit big. Not these. They aren''t actually short lengthwise, but I can''t get my toes up into that extra space in the top of the boot because they are so narrow and I have narrow feet!!! Perhaps stupidly, I decided to keep them even though I knew it was going to be painful to wear them. I have tried boot stretching spray and thick socks and they have loosened considerably, but they still hurt my pinky toes when I wear them. So, I would say these boots ARE true to size, do not order down. The leather was a bit stiff at first (though very smooth), but I conditioned them with Frye conditioner and the leather softened right up. I love the non-slip rubber sole, but most of all I love how sleek and streamlined the style is. The fact that I can say they are my "Katniss" boots doesn''t hurt either (I have read that these are the boots Jennifer Lawrence wore in "The Hunger Games" in the beginning hunting scene. I don''t know for sure, they look like them, but I haven''t seen a close-up. It kind of makes you wonder how a girl from District 12 could afford $400 boots, but I digress, and if you haven''t read the books or seen the movie you don''t care anyway!)!

I ordered these in December but didnt actually see them until February because I was outworking outside of the states. I normally wear an 8 1/2 size, after reading several reviews decided to just go with that size, however I definitely had problems fitting my foot into the boot at first. I ended up loosening the laces to get more leverage and eventually managed to get my foot in, with a snug fit (I could not wear jeans tucked in, or socks, thin stockings still worked).

They are definitely very cute, I just wish I had ordered a larger size, because, probably due to how tight they were, I began to develop blisters after half a mile of walking in them beats me how Katniss hunted in these things she probably had more feminine feet than I.

I like these so far, but have yet to wear them for much more than around the house. They are a bit heavy as they have a rubber sole like a tennis shoe and gel in the pad. The straps have stitches on the side by the toes, which rub a bit, but not seriously. I used to live in tropical islands, and thus I wear sandals a lot. This Cardenas sandal from Teva is nice, comfortable and sturdy. To be honest my first pair of this sandal had a defect in them. The inside of the shoe where your foot rests did not go all the way to the front of the shoe. The first time I wore the new pair my feet ached a bit. I had them on for about 9 hours. But don''t let this discourage you. Since I have gotten them and unless I can''t wear them for some reason (work dress code) these are what I am slipping on to head out the door. Just this weekend I went to an art festival where I was on my feet for a good 6 hours straight and these sandals held up well. I normally put inserts in my shoes to help with my arches but with these I have not needed to at all. I have no concerns about my foot slipping on whatever I am slipping on or my foot slipping in the sandal as can happen with sandals that may have only one strap around your ankle.

I''m also not a big one about style per se when it comes to shoes (or anything). But I liked the look of these and my wife tells me that they are very stylish.

When these wear out I will getting a new pair from Teva.

These are the smallest size 13 shoes that have ever had on my feet and I will probably return them as they are too small.The shoe size seems at least 1 unit smaller than most shoes I wear.As a point of comparison, I wear a size 12.5 New Balance running shoe and my current almost worn out sandals are a Bass size 12.One other reviewer on this board made similar comments about the shoes being undersized.

UGG Australia Women''s Classic Tall Boots

I spent several days researching the right pair of boots. I narrowed it down to UGGs which had very positive reviews but were pricey, and EMUs which seemed to be basically the same product for half the price. Sounds too good to be true? It is.

Here is what I found:

UGGs are made of sheepskin inside and out, and cost $130-$160 for

the most popular type (called Classic, short or tall), more for the

"fancier" varieties (but I honestly prefer the look of the Classic

model)

EMUs have TWO types of products: (1) sheepskin inside and out, and

(2) cowhide outside, merino wool inside. The first variety cost the

same as the UGGs, the second one (not as cozy, not as comfi) cost

about half the price

So, I went with the UGGs which appear to be the more original/popular and am VERY VERY happy these boots really insulate you from the harsh cold completely. Happy feet are worth the $$ for me in thise case. I got the tall variety in grey, and LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

Another misconception that I''d like to correct NEITHER is 100% waterproof as in they''ll basically keep you warm and dry in a reasonable amount of rain/snow, but if you drench them itwill show (common sense). UGGs has real waterproof models which aremore like regular snow boots etc. UGGs also has a water-resistant treatment to improve the durability, but friends I spoke to didn''t do that and haven''t had any water seeping in when she''s worn UGGs in the rain.

So basically, the real deal sheepskin product costs the same (and is similar in quality, comfort).

I had such a hard time figuring this out shame on all the websites for sneakily pretending that the cheaper EMUs are made of the same material, which they are not!

I fell in love with my Uggs the moment I slipped them onto my feet for the very first time.They are wonderfully comfortable & very warm.No, your feet won''t sweat in warm weather, I promise.Most comfortable fit shoe of my life.I wear them at least 6 days a week! **Be sure to order a size down from your normal shoe size.I''m normally a 6, but I bought a 5.** Wear these withOUT socks and they feel like heaven.Wearing them with socks is bulky & well, they weren''t meant for sock wearing.Cave in & buy them, it''ll be the best $139 you''ve ever spent!!! Being a female college student, I felt a necessity to own a pair or two of Uggs. Everybody wears them, but after my first winter in Michigan, I don''t really understand why. Although they are super warm, they aren''t waterproof (sucks for slushy days and wet snow), they don''t have good traction (difficult to walk on snow and ice), and being made of sheepshin, they''re difficult to clean. The salt put on the roads here damages them. I own the Ugg cleaning/care kit, and even that isn''t enough to keep my Uggs looking good.

I wouldn''t recommend these for anyone who lives in a snowy place. Invest in some real snowboots.

The fabric cuts and chafes your skin. The fit is loose and unattractive. The color was the only thing good and even that may go soon. I had to return them along with another pair of Quipids I also bought compulsively at the same time. I''m embarrassed. I ended up paying almost $20 in shipping charges since this company does not offer free returns and when you think about it, $20 is almost the cost of the shoe! And to top it off, this company usually charges a 15% restocking fee which I got waived, thankfully. I wanted to like it but this is truly a waste of money.

I lovethese.They give my legs a little lift like a heel but are modest enough to wear with a pair of shorts. They are great.The only problem is that they are white and they do get dirty very easily & i constantly have to wipe them clean.. but other than that.. i mean 5 stars! They are extremely comfy too.

I should have listened to the other reviews, these are not the same design as before, and are very uncomfortable.I have quite average feet, maybe a tough narrow but I never need special sizes, nor are my feet thick.The height of the thong is quite short, too short for the bridge of my toes, probably because the angle of the wedge is very sharp, and I have much higher wedges so I attribute it to poor design.

p.s. Save yourself and order shoes elsewhere, I wanted to return them and the company wants ME to pay for return shipping.Is this a joke?I have ordered shoes and clothes from hundreds of online and catalog retailers and have never been asked to pay for my return.Go to Zappos.
