ToeSox Yogini Women''s Sandal

ToeSox New Yogini Five Toe Sandals, Black, 8Ever since my wife and I discovered years ago that Beech Original Yoga Sandals really live up to their advertising hype by partially relieving back pain and making it easier to stand for long periods of time, I''ve become a big fan of socks and shoes with "toe-separating technology." As an inveterate skeptic, I''m frankly surprised to find my original skepticism misplaced in this case. You can now choose from a wide selection of socks and footwear that provide toe-separating benefits, such as various types of yoga sandals and several varieties of foot alignment socks that look goofy but, in my experience, work wonders.

The toe separating design of these sandals from ToeSox is much less aggressive than on the Beech Yoga Sandals Originals. In fact, the toe separating thongs are similar to those on Yoga Sandals Fusions, except that a clear plastic tube covers the first thong. The other three thongs are simply thin, flexible double bungees. Thus they provide only modest toe separation, but they''re easier to wear and walk in. Compared to the somewhat clunky Yoga Sandals shoes, the soft suede-like strap (available in several colors) is quite narrow, and the sole is thinner and narrower, with textured "ToeSox" logos covering the bottom. ToeSox sandals are also much lighter-weight, and they come in real numerical sizes rather than the Yoga Sandals'' S, M, L and XL, so getting a good fit is a snap.

Toe-separating sandals are an inexpensive but very effective way to improve your posture and standing endurance and to help relieve back pain. Based on extensive personal experience, they really do the job they claim to do. You can''t go wrong giving them a try.

I love these sandals. They are comfortable and run true to size.I like that the footbed is thicker than regular flip flops.

I got these for pedicures. Not a particularly good choice as the separators aren''t big enough to separate the pinky toe on my feet. But, HOLY COMFORTABLE, Batman! Just to wear these are exquisitely comfortable. Much more stable on your foot than just the strap between your big toe and index toe. Will be wearing the heck out of these when spring comes. I will be buying more for when the ones I got wear out. And FootSmart sends a catalogue with all their goodies with it

My Beech yoga sandals are my favorite for around the house; their toe separators are wider (I need fairly wide separation to "cure" my Morton''s Neuroma). However, the Beech sandals are pretty darn ugly (I''ll upload some photos so you can compare them) and I would rather not look quite so dorky when I''m out and about.

So, I bought these Toesox sandals because I could see that they weren''t as "clunky," yet I''d get the benefit of toe separation. Initially they weren''t very comfy because the main strap was stiff and almost seemed to have a "sharp" edge in comparison to the puffy strap of the Beech. But, I gradually built up my wear time and now they are fine. The toe separators are thin but I think they have at least a little bit of therapeutic value. I wear them everywhere during warm weather except at home, where my Beech sandals wait for me by the door.
