Very disappointed in these boots.The item description cleary says "leather" and when I received them they are made in China and are fully man-made materials.Very cheap and I would not recommend these to anyone. FALSE advertising at its finest.I don''t want to pay to ship them back because its not worth it, I will probably be taking these to GoodWill!

I read prior comments that said this was not real leather, but for the price I didn''t mind and ordered them anyway.This is the poorest quality shoe I have ever purchased.Not only is it not real leather, but the material is horribly thin.I wore them to work one day (and I have an office job sitting most of the day), and just while walking around at work, they would make cracking noises when walking.Before the end of the day, the material actually cracked and flaked off and it''s now white in the crease of where your foot bends.These are not even worth $1!

I bought the wide size (c/d.) The calf width for the wide is about 17 inches. The size I bought ended up fitting me perfectly even over thick leggings and I am happy with my purchase.

The wide/wide size (E.) I was told was 19 or 20 inches, but i can''t confirm this. In my experience, the boots really do not stretch at the top. Measure your calf and make sure they will zip over your leggings. Keep in mind if you have a small foot these measurements may end up being smaller.

The only con is that the heel area of the boot slightly hurts my foot because it is really hard. I will probably have to buy some insoles, but its not too bad. Other than that they are very stylish.
