These sandals are perfect with jeans. The platform and wedge are easy to walk in and the back of the shoe did not irritate my upper ankle, which I often have a problem with. I got the mandarin and the straps are a burnt orange color, more orange than my screen displayed. I would say they run slightly large and are a little on the chunky side versus a feminine sandal.
