This is a great slipper! Since I have feet and knee problems-they offer support and comfort (I have 4 other pairs of slippers that I don''t wear--too flimsey for me) Like I said they are great and I will purchase a few more pair BUT make sure the velcro is secure!!!! I didn''t one night and the velcro opened and I steppped down on the top of the slipper and since the bottom is a hard rubber/plastic I thought I broke my foot. Thank God I didn''t but my foot was badly brusied and is taking a while to heal. So, this is just an FYI because I love these slippers BUT again make sure you have the velcro strap secure! My podiatrist understood what happened and it was my fault and I''m just writing this to maybe save someone else from the same situation I was/am in. Yes, I have them on right now. My foot is a 9-9 1/2 and the size 9 is just fine.The other 4 pairs of slippers cost over $120 and for the $59.95 for one pair of a quality pair is sooo worth while.. Hey you get what you pay for! I almost haven''t taken these off my feet since they got here a few days ago.I''ve got plantar fascitis and very pronated feet, and they''ve been getting worse since we moved to a house with all wood and tile floors.These slippers haven''t instantly gotten rid of my pain, but they''re definitely helping.I keep them next to my bed, and put them on before I stand up in the morning and now the pain is tolerable.I''m hoping my feet will start improving now that they''re properly aligned.
The slippers also have a flexible plastic bottom so I can wear them outside to check the mail.I''m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I''m not a huge fan of the styling.I kind of feel like I''m wearing my grandma''s house shoes.It''s worth it, but I would have liked something a little cuter.
**Edit: 3 months later and I''m changing my rating to 5 stars.I don''t care what they look like.I want to wear them all the time they feel so good.Great slippers.

I bought these because I have crazy bad plantar fasciitis.I''ve been to 3 different doctors.The last one advised me to quit walking around the house barefoot (hardwood floors) and get a good pair of slippers.These slippers are very comfortable (although they seem a little big).My foot feels some better, but I''ve only had them for 12 days, and I can''t say if I''ll continue to improve.This is why I only gave 4 stars.If the plantar fasciitis goes away for good, I''ll amend my review and increase my rating.Not sure if they''re worth $60, but for that much money I guarantee I''ll wear them.
Update 8/18/11: Dropped my rating from 4 stars to 2.I still think they''re comfortable and good for my feet, but the velcro has come unstitched from one of the slippers and I''ve only had them for a little over a month. When they cost $60, that shouldn''t happen.

I received these for Christmas, so have worn them only 2 days. I thought there would be more of a cushion to them, but the support is worth passing on the cushion. The terry-type uppers and foot bed are spa-soft. Very nice. They do keep my feet warm even with their open design. With the adjustability, I can add socks if desired. The quality of the slippers appears to be very good. I needed them primarily because I like to cook, which means stand, for hours at a time on the weekends. So far, my heels have felt good and the dislocation in my right foot has not bothered me. Yea! Thank you, Orthaheel, for a nice product. I am very pleased. I scored a 4 only because I have not had the slippers that long. Will return with a 5 if they continue to be great.
2/9/2011 ** I HAVE RETURNED WITH A 5, now having the slippers for over 6 weeks. Wearing these slippers keeps my feet, ankles, and back from aching. I love them! (And so did my husband when he wore them out to the deep freeze in the garage!) If they were available in a more masculine look, he would be getting a pair, too! How about a dark brown or black, Orthaheel? :) Wish I could wear these to work.

I am 34 years old and am a long distance runner who suffered from plantar fasciitis and knee pain. I had been recently going to physical therapy for the pain, but was still having some trouble... until I got these. I needed something to help ease my aching feet so I did a google search for the best slippers on the market and these came a few times. I looked on QVC as well as Orthaheel''s website, but didn''t want to spend that much due to the holidays being right around the corner and us needing the money we have for gifts for our kids. So I searched Amazon and found then for cheaper here! I was thrilled! And even more so when I got the package and slipped them on. At first, they felt a little weird with the arch supports being as high as they are, but it''s nothing I couldn''t get used to. And I did, because now I don''t even get out of bed without first putting them on! They feel great on and my feet have not ached in a long time, plus my knees feel great even after a 10 mile run! I''ll definitely be ordering another pair when these wear out. I''m an orthaheel fan!
I previously had some Riders (dog ate them) that were unbelievably comfortable. I bought these as a replacement. My major issue is that the Thong is too big and irritates the area between my toes.
