i absolutely love these boots.they look good and feel wonderful.i would say they are true to size because i wear a size 7, but ordered these in brown last winter in a 7.5 because there were no 7s.the 7.5 is a little loose on me, even with thick socks so that tells me that the 7 would have been better if it had been available.i have a decent-size calf and find the fit okay. i can zip them up with boot cut jeans inside, but not sure if someone with big calves would be comfortable. but then, no one wears boot cut jeans anymore, so the fit shouldn''t be a problem for most people.i actually love these boots so much i even tried buying the black suede ones recently, but can''t find them in a 7 or 7.5.great boots!!
