Haflinger Unisex Saskatchewan Shearling Clog

I got these slippers in order to have something warm but not squishy for indoors. Mostly, they are super great but there is one problem. The sides are tied together with little leather strips which have a knot on the inside of the shoe. This knot rubs on my skin and drives me crazy.

I received these today and they are wonderfully comfortable. I especially like the snug feel of the sheepskin around my foot and the wonderful arch support.

However, only 4 stars because they are really not that attractive. I ordered the Chestnut Brown but the color of the pair I received is not nearly as dark as the advertised pair--more of a faded, lighter brown. I am afraid that they will show drips and stains...

A word about sizing: I have had several pairs of Haflinger clogs and slippers, and I usually find that they run large, so I buy a size smaller than I wear in most shoes. With these, however, I anticipated that they would fit snugly due to the bulk of the shearling fleece on the inside, so I ordered the size that I usually wear in most shoes. I''m glad that I did because these fit perfectly. So, I would say that they run "true to size," but if you wear a half size, I would order up.

I bought these slippers 4 winters ago. Absolutley LOVE them !!! Problem is: The cork starts falling apart/cracking after about 2 years of just indoor usage and I just noticed a hole is forming in the suede/shearling on my left big toe.....Call me old-fashioned, but I like my $130 slippers to last a little bit longer than that, especially since I only wear them in the coldest winter month !!! ...So I''m on the hunt for the new "perfect slipper" with shearling/without cork footbed, that''ll last....

I have had these slippers for years and they are still in great shape.I wear them all year round.Most of the wear is indoors but I do run quick errands in them occasionally.They run true to size.Will definitely buy another pair if and when these wear out!
