Birkenstock Gizeh Birko-Flor Sandal

Due to an old ankle injury, I pretty much only wear Birkenstocks. Then, living in the desert, I wear Gizehs and am always looking for fancy ones.

I ordered these red patent "leather" Gizehs and absolutely love them. I''ve been wearing them for a few months now and the red is still true, and they look as good as new.

Highly recommended sandal. You can walk and stand for a long time and look snazzy, too. I get comments on these Birks all the time.

I own several pair of Birkenstocks but usually only wear them around the house and to run errands on the weekends because I don''t feel they are very attractive and actually make my feet look wider than they actually are.HOWEVER, because I developed plantar facitis in my left foot a couple months ago, I ordered these particular Birkenstocks (Gizeh) in hopes they looked a little nicer and I could wear them to work.Sure enough, THEY DO!!!I liked the look of them on my feet so much that I ordered another pair in a different color. These sandals have all the advantages of the comfort of a Birkenstock while, at the same time, being somewhat attractive on your feet!I highly recommend them!

These look comfy and in a way they are. Good arch support. My problem was th e bump under the toes, the right foot hurt me for a week or so and still bothers me a bit. I live in NYC and walking in flips flops/sandals is wearing on your ankles and feet. Not to mention getting home and seeing how DIRTY your heals are. EEEK! The birkis eliminate that which i love.

I wear a lot of Birkenstocks because of an ankle injury that prohibits any sort of heel on my shoes. And because I live where it''s very warm, I have a bunch of Gizehs. These red patent leather ones are the bomb. People will do a double take, because they are Birks, but they are awesome. Gone is the image of the tree bark gnawing, home-spun wool wearing Earth mother (not that there''s anything wrong with that). Hello fun shoes that will make heads turn. Plus they have all the foot/posture advantages of any other Birkenstock.

I''ve been wearing mine along with black patent leather, silver, black and jeweled Gizehs for years. Sadly, my red ones are starting to give up the ghost, so I''m in the market for another pair.
