i was attracted by the design by the first look, very feminine and elegant! I tried the shoes in store first, then bought it here (great deal at amazon!). Amazingly, this pair wears very comfortable. You cannot simply imagine how can a 4 3/4 height be comfortable, yet this pair is! the insole has the best curve to align your feet. You may feel a bit awkward when wearing them, if you never wore stilettos in this height, but you can practice by walking on carpet on your toes without shoes first. You''ll get used to it. After all, the shoes don''t hurt your feet, they''re comfortable, just that you need to get used to the height.

I don''t agree with the other reviewer about "the toes part tilts upwards". That design is for your easy walking! Since it has about 1 inch platform, if it''s not tilted slightly, it''ll be hard for you to walk, you will have to step up and down the whole foot. When you walk, you need to pull up your heel, move the center of gravity to your toes, but with platform, you cannot simply do that, that''s why it''s a bit rounded. And the picture is accurate, it''s not rounded like a ball that you cannot walk. If you cannot walk, that means you don''t know how to walk in stilettos with platform, I''m sorry to say this. Even Nike is doing such rolling design for their walking shoes, check out Nike''s rolling rail technology. Note that Nike is even flat! I personally have a pair of Nike''s walking shoes with rolling rail design. And believe me, that''s rolling much more than this pair of guess stilettos. This is nothing comparing to that.

The peep toe opening can be bigger, that''s my only concern. The height of the shoes will slide your feet downwards, and the peep toe opening is a little bit small. But of course, that helps preventing your feet slide off the shoes.

I usually like Guess shoes, however i was disappointed with this one. I got the black suede, the design is gorgeous (which is why i gave it a rating of 3), but the shoe itself is very bulky, the platform is much higher than the picture shows, and the toes part tilts upwards, so you''re kind of rocking back and forth when walking! Also, it runs a bit big. I had to return it back. In general, nice design, disappointing quality of style.
