I''ve been a Teva customer for over 10 years. They offered the best sandals I''ve ever owned -consecutively wearing out three pairs of the same design that has since been discontinued. It was similar to this Sutter Creek design in its criss-cross design, but used a single strap instead of the double straps. Thought it was the closest design to the model I liked, so I ordered a pair in the size I ordered in the past. What a disappointment. I couldn''t even get my feet inside them. Teva told me the sandals needed to be broken in and then they''d be fine, but how do you break in sandals you can''t even get onto your feet? I brought them to our local cobbler to stretch the straps. I could get them on but they were painfully tight. Back to the cobbler for more stretching. Still unbearable to wear. Cobbler said they were stretched to the max -that more stretching would damage them. These sandals are not true to size. They get an "F" and don''t merit the single star I''m forced to give in order to post this review. My feet are normal width. Note: Teva did accept my return and refunded my money. The model they discontinued was great and very comfortable. Don''t ya hate it when you find a great product and the manufacturer discontinues it? My feet do. Now I buy Keen.

I was really nervous about ordering sandals online, but these are by far the nicest sandals I have ever worn.Very thick cushioning, makes for easy walking.So far, the only problem I have is the straps are a little small for my feet.The sandals slide off as I''m walking.I am assuming as I continue to wear them the straps will stretch out and make for a better fit.

I took a chance spending so much on a pair of sandals I wanted to spend maybe half of what I paid for these but I''m glad I spent the extra money to get something I was really happy wearing rather than spending less and not being totally satisfied.

These were purchased after finally giving up on my old sandals of 5+ years that were beated and barely held together.Originally when purchased these sandals would chafe the sides of my feet a bit, but that has subsided after wearing them for a while and getting used to them.The straps are high quality leather and have a cushion underneath them to prevent rubbing on the top of your foot.I''m slightly concerned about long term durability of the top of the sandals where the logo is printed.The print is starting to come off after a month of usage and the material is fraying just the slightest bit.As another reviewer noted, the current price (~60USD) is fairly high.Wait until they come back down around 30 USD.

the straps run a little tight.. i usually wear size 12s but these are a little too tight.. should have gotten size 13s.

hopefully the straps loosen a little from use. aside from that, very nice for $30-$40

These shoes held up really well on our vacation in Thailand.He never once complained that they were uncomfortable, and with the dark leather I thought they looked appropriate even off the beach. After our trip he said that when the current pair wears out, he plans on buying this brand/shoe again!
