I have kind of a mini-bunion on one foot, if you can call it that, from years of wearing pointy toe heels.Every time I wear these, I have to put bandages on my mini-bunion because otherwise the first two straps threaten to excise the skin from my foot! And, I had to stick gel petals on the balls.Even still, I love these sandals. It''s the price I pay for all-day compliments and showing off my pedicure in my cute shoes.
My only disappointment is that I found these at a major department store for like $50, much less than I paid here.My only solace is that I got to wear them a couple months before they went on sale at the store.

First, these sandals look great. They are definitely working sandals, not just for show. The tread is awesome and grips well dry or wet.I have gone from river to dusty trail without missing a beat. And they have great support and cushion. My feet definitely don''t feel like I''ve been walking on pavement all day, which is how most sandals in this segment feel.
Second, they are very adjustable.Three straps mean that you can really dial in the fit.Best of all, the buckle on the middle strap means that once you have found a good fit, you don''t have to keep re-finding it each time you get in and out.
Finally, they run SMALL, so order accordingly.I wear an 11 1/2 in a normal shoe, and normally a 12 in a sandal.12 wasn''t even close to protecting my little piggies, so I sent back for a 13.Maybe a tad long, but not much, and definitely better than bloody toes!
All in all, a great sandal. If you are here and reading this, just buy it; you will be happy!Great sandals. They are adjustable in three places: over the for-foot, over the ankle, and the back of the foot above the heel. Construction is rugged and tough. Ankle strap has a quick release clip, so I do not have to un-velcro and re-velcro. The straps are cushioned underneath, where they touch the foot, so there is no chaffing or blisters, no rubbed skin at all, even on the very first wear. The best part is the sole and foot bed. Incredibly comfortable, it feels like a tiny bounce when I run, but still very supportive. I feel as if I retain much of the muscle movement possible when barefoot, but with a cushioned sole beneath me.
These work particularly well for me since, due to a medical condition, one foot is taller near the for-foot/ball. I can adjust each sandal to fit each foot perfectly.

I''ve been wearing Teva''s for quite a few years now, and have always preferred them over other brands.I ordered theToachi 2 without ever seeing them, or trying them on, as a replacement for my aged\shot older pair from 5+ years ago.
I am VERY happy with these sandals. The fit is true to size, I''m a mens 12, and the comofort\strap system is fantastic.I wore them all day on an "urban hike" a day after getting them, and at the end of day, there was not a rub mark or abrasion to be found on my feet. The foot bed is very supportive, and the cushioning is perfect.
Can''t say much more, other than I''d rate them 10 stars if that was an available option. If you have owned and loved Teva sandals in the past, you really can''t go wrong with these!

These sanals have not lived up to my expectations.Teva ddescribes them as outdoor performance sandals.I walk my dog every morning which does involve me walking through moist grass. After less than a year these sandals began to fall apart.I have another pair of Tevas which are over 20 years old and show no signs of falling apart.I paid around 80.00 for my present sandals and don''t feel they are worth the money.Teva does NOT make their sandals like they used to.

I have a pet peeve about Velcro secured sandals. While Velcro is a terrific material for lashing things together and works well for sizing a sandal to fit, I think the final securing piece should be a buckle.Once you''ve sized the straps to suit your foot, you use a quick release buckle so that your sandal is always on the ready to fit properly and thus avoiding the dreaded Velcro "rip" sound. But it''s obvious that some production costs are saved by going with full Velcro, and thus why you see a majority of sandals without buckles these days.
STRAPS:
--PRO''s
* Buckle for quick secure/release
* Double layered, with firm waterproof outer and soft neoprene inner layers
* 3 adjustable points
--CON''s
* Front strap has annoying strap loop position, with questionable shape to inner padding
* Buckle is a bit thin in design--could be sturdier
* Inner neoprene layer feels thin, leaving question of durability
This particular style of Teva sandal comes with a Velcro and buckle secured strap system. It has ample sizing ranges and works pretty well. The strap quality is decent. The outer layer is a waterproof matte material and the the inner lining is made of a soft thin neoprene layer. There is one thing I''d consider a design flaw, though. The front strap has a loop point attached to the inside strap anchor, that has a strap liner ending directly over the big toe knuckle (rather than in the gap between toes). You can see what I''m talking about in the second and last photos provided with the product details.Well, the strap pad has a tendency to fold over as you slide your foot underneath the strap. If you don''t notice it at first, you certainly will when you start walking. But even once you have the strap liner positioned properly, there is a chance for rubbing of the padding edge against your toe, directly on top of the knuckle. It happened to do this with both my feet. The only way I could get it not to do this was to loosen the strap... but it ended up being too loose in the front. When I secured it back, I felt the rubbing again.Other sandal makers haven''t made this mistake. The loop is either just a little further inward (see Clarks Men''s Biofix2 Sandal), or placed directly in the middle (see Clarks Men''s Switcher Sandal).
SOLE:
--PRO''s
* High grip tread, with slightly smoother outer edge and semi "tacky" inner material
* Top side has very soft spongy material with attractive "stone wall" pattern
--CON''s
* Tread is a bit noisy on smooth surfaces at first, but should diminish as tread "breaks in".
* Tread design looks a bit prone to attracting and holding dirt/debris.
* Top side spongy material protrudes up and outward at the toe, making it prone to scrapes when walking on hard surfaces.
The top of the sole is made of a super soft cushioning sponge-like rubberized material. It feels very nice and soft against the foot, which is terrific, except that it rather exposed at the front edge of the sandals.I can easily see it coming into contact with abrasive hard surfaces and getting chewed up over time. This will probably vary depending upon your walking style and where you walk. But otherwise, it''s a very comfortable feeling sole. There is a "cushion puck" under the heel, but it''s a little small.I don''t think it contributes very much to reducing shock, yet it''s probably not needed anyway. The sole does a good job of cushioning.
The bottom of the sole is seriously grippy, due to its innovative "spider" design. The outer edge of the sole is firm and slightly smooth with some tread grooves, and the inner sole has the "spider" pattern with a mix of hard bits extending from a semi-sticky ridged surface. It seems to work well, although all of the "nooks & crannies" may act as a debris magnet on sandy or very soft ground.
WEIGHT:
These sandals are very lightweight, probably lighter than average for a sandal of this class. But, it''s weighted enough not to feel unsubstantial. If there''s one unquestionable strong point I can make for these sandals, is that Teva got the weight just perfect.
OVERALL:
These are generally comfortable and serviceable sports sandals that will do well in a variety of conditions, including wet.I also appreciate the fact that it uses a buckle (instead of Velcro) for taking on/off.But, the front strap problem I cited earlier in the review was too much of a problem for me.I ended up deciding to return these.Quite frankly, I''d have given 4.5 stars for this sandal if it weren''t for this drawback. Now, it may be that for other foot types, maybe those with a smaller big toe, that this design might not be a problem. Also, it could be the kind of thing that will "work itself out" over time. But for the price bracket on these sandals and my wish to own a pair of sandals that will feel sufficiently comfortable from the start, these weren''t going to cut it.

BEARPAW Women''s Kola II Boot
When I saw these here on Amazon, I fell in love with them.I priced them in Tulsa at several shops/mall/etc.No one here has this style with the feather band. The ones that they did have were a LOT more and were nowhere as cute.I ordered them last week and they arrived today.I couldn''t wait to get them on when I got them.
I have had them on all day now and I love love love them. They are really beautiful boots I ordered them in white. The outside is really awesome, white fur fake fur I''m sure, you PETA fans.(Although my chihuahua will disagree, he has been growling at them ever since I took them out of the box.)The inside is lined with wool, giving it extra padding as well as warmth.I have noticed that they aren''t really heavy either, like those boots that weight a ton and make your legs tired after wearing them for a while. They are really lightweight, yet still really warm and comfortable just what I wanted.
I do also like that the feather band on them is sewn in on the top of the band and the bottom.I was worried that this would be something that could snag easily or come loose. But I don''t see that being a problem. The little leather straps that hang down on the side are perfectly matched to the color of the boot, and they are really cute. They don''t flap enough to really be a problem either when you are walking.
I am curious to see how they do on the ice and snow, but so far, the traction is great. We have wood and tile throughout our house and I have other boots that I slip in constantly.I''ve noticed that the soles of these boots are rubber, they remind me a bit of Doc Martins. So I''m hoping that they do good on snow and ice.
It''s in the mid-20''s here today and I''ve been outside several times in the wind.My feet are still just fine and cozy.Having never owned a pair of Bearpaw boots, I wasn''t sure how warm they would be.I''ll be out more later and this week, I''m sure I''ll wear them everywhere.I''ve gotten tons of compliments on them already.
While these are more than I would normally spend on a pair of boots yes, I''m a cheapie I am SO glad that I went ahead and ordered these.Although I''ve only had them a day so far, I am totally in love with them.My sister saw the ones I ordered and has ordered herself some in black. If you''re looking for something really cool and unique to wear, yet will still keep your feet warm, I''d recommend these completely.Just make sure that you order them bigger than you normally wear so that you aren''t mad that you can''t wear them.
I dearly love the Bearpaw Kolaboots...the look, the feel, the comfort, everything.I have Kola I in three shades if that tells you anything...white, black, and chestnut and am trying to get rust, too.So when I saw the Kola II in Maple I eagerly placed my order.
The look is almost identical to the original Kola but they appear to not be as well made. And while the original Kola required sizing up...I normally wear a 9 and the 10 was great....do NOT size up in the Kola 2.A 9 would have been fine and I swam in the 10.The shearling in both the footbed and the lining is not as plush as in the original Kola. The heel is also constructed differently and is slightly shorter and not as comfortable.
I do HIGHLY recommend the original Kola...if you can find it in your size, and do size up.If you can''t and have to have this look it is an OK substitute, but not nearly as nice as the original Kola, in my opinion. That is in both feel and construction quality.Sadly, these areon their way back.

The sizing is a little off...I bought 2 pair 9 thinking they were like uggs, I am a 9.5, 9 in uggs...no...they are true to size and we need to size UP a half size...The brown ones are 9 and fit snugly...the chestnut are 9 and fit very (too?)snugly . I am 9.5 so should have gone 10! They are not soft like uggs so do not stretch easily...BUT they are fabulous boots. Warm and sexy even for winter...not overwhelming like Ugg mamas,( which I have and they get ratty, the fluffy sheepskin ones) the feathers pull in the fur on this and add to the style. love them, great price!Around a year ago I bought these very same boots... I loved them. I lost my home and all my belongings in a house fire. I bought these shoes (i got my original pair off of amazon as well) and I am just disgusted. The box arrived and looked damaged. I opened them up to find boots that were NOTHING like the pair I had before. The ''hair'' on the boot is extremely long and i say ''hair'' because Im not even sure it is real. Im really wondering if what I received wasn''t a knock off. There was glue EVERYWHERE. Spots of glue around the toe of the boot.. all over in the hair. And to top it off it looked like the ''hair'' was singed :( needless to say im returning these.. i did not spend $140 for the crap I got. I received my item from VirtualExchange. Not only are these boots the coolest boots i have owned, they are the warmest.Do go up a size, as i did, u will love them.Quality is amazing.CL by Chinese Laundry Women''s In Stride Wedge Sandal

My favorite part about this sandal is the buckle on the side it''s covered! These are really well-made leather sandals and feel great on. Fit is true to size I usually wear U.S. 8M and these fit perfectly. The heel is somewhat high and I found after a couple of hours they weren''t all that comfortable and I was ready to take them off but they look really good on and go well with everything. I''m happy with this purchase!

Dr. Weil Fiesta Orthotic Slippers
I have a medium to wide foot and ordered a size down, and they are still plenty big and still a half an inch too long. LOTS of room in the toes. If your foot is particularly narrow, they might be too big? I normally wear size 7 U.S. shoes, even though my foot is actually a 6.5, or a true Euro 37. The 7 (Euro 38) was almost 2 sizes too big. This is IMPERATIVE if you want to get sizing right for this shoe: If you are size 6-6.5, order the size 6! (That is Euro 37 on these shoes). If you are 7-7.5 (That is Euro 38 on this shoe). Whatever your half size is, stick to the whole number (if you are 9.5, order the size 9). They will still be half an inch too long, but they fit great that way and you can adjust the strap). Again, if you are a half size, eg. 9.5, order the 9. You are not actually getting a size smaller, it''s just that that is the proper U.S. equivalent in this Euro sizing.
This is how you need to do it. The Amazon chart is misleading. Follow the above and you will have your true size. I am a true Euro 37, always have been and, the size 6 is the one that says, "Euro 37" on the box. Very often, in North America, they write Euro 37 as equivalent to 6.5-7. In Orthaheel you need to go with the whole number to get your true Euro equivalent. If you are 10.5, order 10 and so on.
On top of it, the vendor (Orthotics Shop) is superior in their customer service. I am in Canada, but in the U.S. your shipping and returns on Orthaheel is free. Even to Canada, the shipping was very reasonable though. Follow my instructions and you will not have to return them for a smaller size.
If your size is a whole number, they will fit, but they will be roomy. I am not certain whether you would want to size down or not. I think if I was a true size 6, and not 6.5, I would still order the size 6. I might suggest ordering a 5 if your foot is narrow due to the fact that they might be too big due to the width.
If you live in the U.S., don''t worry, the vendor the Orthotics Shop, has superior customer service! I live in Canada and the shipping was still cheap, but in the U.S., you get a 30-day money back guarantee with these slippers and free shipping and return shipping -so the U.S. customers have nothing to lose. These are fantastic slippers, I cannot recommend them enough!!
UPDATE: Two weeks later, the wool stretched to such a point that these slippers still feel a size too big. If I was to do it again, I would probably order the 5 even though I am a size 6.5. Also, when you walk, it feels like they are going to fall off as there is nothing for your toes to grip on to. I just love these slippers, but they need to work on the strange sizing issues.I bought these slippers as I was just diagnosed with supination (when walking I put all the weight on the outside/lateral side of the feet.) I''m still wearing a removable cast my podiatrist prescribed as I had a fracture on the right foot.I started removing the cast little by little and needed some slippers with the right foot support.
I have to say these are the most comfortable slippers I ever had. They''re not pretty (well, they''re not my style, my husband likes them) but they make out for it in support and comfort.
I wear a size 6, very normal feet, and yes, I have to agree with previous reviewers, the slippers are very roomy, a lot of toe space and around a quarter of an inch extra in length. I wear them with socks and because the slippers are wool the cotton socks sticks to them and they don''t shift around. I''m not sure how it''ll be towards the spring when I don''t wear socks, maybe I''ll have to get some flip flops then.
The slippers are very well made, nice construction, they''re a little heavy, which I like, no flimsy shoe here (they''re made in Spain, not China. LOL) The rubber sole is thick and perfect to run to the mailbox or even the corner store. The arch support is very good, even better than my custom made orthotics.
I wore them yesterday and today almost all day, except for 3 hours I had the cast on, and I haven''t had pain at all. I also have stairs in my house and had no problems going up and down, maybe the socks help, I don''t know.
Maybe next time I''ll buy shoes from this manufacturer I may try a size 5 to see how they fit, but it may be just this model''s design. In all I''m very happy with the purchase so far.

I''ve worn Orthaheel shoes and insoles exclusively for several years.I have a medium/wide foot, so most of the medium widths are too narrow.I was thrilled when I saw that this shoe ran large.I am closer to a size 10.5 (euro 42) but always purchase an 11 primarily because a 10.5 is nearly impossible to find. This shoe in a 11 fits like it was made for me!The length does not seem long and the width does not seem overly wide wider than a Narrow width Birkenstock, but not as wide as a Regular width Birkenstock.I prefer Orthaheelby Dr. Weil because. though a little more expensive, the quality of the materials used is so much better than the basic Orthaheel (ie: real leather). But only in 1 pair of sandals could I find a width to fit. Most of his sizing is a true Medium.
Due to knee, leg and back problems I always wear shoes inside for the support, but slippers just don''t hold up and I won''t wear my regular street shoes in the house. These are the perfect house shoes!I also just found Dr. Weils Deva Clog which seems to have a similar footbed that will be great for out and about.I just ordered 2 pair.
As far as style I got over that a long time ago.Being pain free will do that to you!But I think these are adorable! These are WONDERFUL for anyone with Plantar Fasciitis! My old fluffy pink Orthaheel slippers were well past their prime so I replaced them with these.Around the same time, I also purchased another pair of Dr. Weil shoes.I think that the Dr. Weil shoes are all-around better than Orthaheel. They seem to use better materials and are constructed better. These slippers in particular are fantastic. They have that nice high arch that your feet will love, and they''re actually pretty cute.I liked them so much I bought another pair to have on hand in case anything ever happens to these.I don''t want to be without them!I wanted new house slippers that had good arch support.I totally found them. They weren''t cheap but the comfort and style are so worth the price!I might have to buy another pair to wear outside the house. Very sturdy and functional without sacrificing form.Highly recommend.

Excellent support, just slightly thin through width of foot. I''m skilled at walking in high, towering heels and this shoe is seriously tall but the heel is on the chunky side, so you don''t feel like there is a lack of support under your foot. I know I wouldn''t be comfortable wearing these to work all day, so I am looking forward to a nice dinner where I can sport these little pretties.
