I ordered these sight unseen because they seemed to be exactly what I was looking for...and they are! I have bought and returned so many boots because they are either way too high for my short legs (I''m 5''2) or way too wide for my small calves. These are a nice in-between height and are narrow in the shaft so I can wear them with skinny jeans and with shorts. The leather is so soft and they are very comfortable. The only reason I took one point off was because of the color of the brown. On my computer the brown looks more like a rich reddish-brown but in person they are more of a dusty brown. Still very pretty. I''ll bet they look excellent in black.
