Steve Madden Women''s Glaare Sandal

This is a really pretty shoe.The jewels on the top are very well done and really cute and shine nicely.The reason I gave this shoe only 3 stars is because of the base of this shoe.The bottom of this sandal is a whole other story.The edges are rough and the base is cheap looking.I debated as to whether or not to keep them but I decided to return them based on the cheap looking base.I knew the support would not be much but they are even more basic feeling after trying them on.You wouldn''t want to walk very far in these shoes.Like I already said the top part of this shoe is adorable.It is very well put together and the jewels are nice and do not look cheap.The rest of this shoe is not so great.For the price, I will order thewith Sam Edelman shoe that looks very similar to this one but it appears not to be as flat of a base and just a little bit nicer.It appears to be a bit better made for just about the same price.I will let you know what I think of that shoe when I get them soon.

I was waiting for so long for the Steve Madden Glaare sandals to go down to an "affordable" price for soooo many months. When they finally did here on Amazon, I ordered them very quickly. Much to my amazement, they arrived. How beautiful they looked! Yet, I was not counting with the poor craftsmanship of the pair of sandals. They are uncomfortable, run about 1/2 a size (or less)smaller than other sandals I''ve bought (and, BELIEVE ME, I have plenty of shoes/sandals)! Then, the next thing was the fact that the "jewels" started to come loose/unglued, or fall off. Really disappointed, but I did wear them one day for about 2 hrs., so I will keep them. I will try to glue back the stones that fell off.

These are truly lovely sandals and well made.Saw them initially at a high end department store and fell in love.However I ordered on line due to size issues.Anyway the thong that runs between the large and second toe was too thick having multiple layers.This made for an uncomfortable fit with potential of painful blisters. They are true to size and might work fine fine for someone who has a wider space between the large and second toes. They do look elegant on your feet.

The main gem on the sandal fell out the second time I wore them. It was really too bad because the shoes are very cute and very comfortable. But for that amount of money, they really should be made better.

The rhinestones do not line up on top of the leather well and hang off the edges causing them to rub on your toes/feet.It is excruciating.I wore them once and also had one of the main large gems fall out!
