Reef Women''s Miss J-Bay Sandal

Seeking a well formed arched leather sandle, after reviewing and sampling various brands I chose the Reef Miss J-Bay leather sandle.I have been very pleased with this sandle.It has a nice arch support but not too high and definitely holds the ankle in the sandle without flip-flopping all over.The foot returns to the footbed as you walk.The size was accurate, the width trim but not too and the toe strap at the perfect spot for an average toe length.All in all it looks nice dressing it up or down.I was not aware Reef had a higher end sandle and will certainly check these out in the future.They are a bit more dressy than an average flip flop type of sandle for sure.

Love these sandals. They are comfortable, yet stylish. I wanted something comfortable that I can wear for a long time without sacrificing style. They are a beautiful brown leather with detailed stitching. The only down fall is that because they are leather they need to be broken in. So the leather in between the toes may irritate some until they have been worn for a bit.

Loved the golf sandals!I ordered a 1/2 size bigger than I normally wear because they did not come in 1/2 sizes, I probably should have ordered 1/2 smaller they seem to run a little big.However, they were very comfortable and look good on my feet.

This shoe is excellent quality in every way. Beautiful and very comfortable.

I usually wear more orthotic shoes (I have bunions and other joint issues in knee and back)but these shoes are very comfortable.

Because of the other reviews, I went down in size, but for me, this was incorrect. I had to re-order another size a 1/2 size up. (I range in different sandals between 8 and 9, but most often 8. In this one, I needed 8 1/2, maybe partially because of bunion, but length was almost too short)

I am so grateful to the customer service because they refunded my money promptly (on the sandal that was too small)on this return. I dont even think they took shipping out.

Caution: be careful when trying these on in house and stay away from any possible moisture, even a drink, a pet or slightest drop, near sinks, etc..

The soles are beautifully crafted leather and will show any contact with water as a spot. Not bothersome at all if you''re keeping, but a concern if you need to return. (Although with this customer service I don''t think you should have any major concerns at all, you can feel very confident) The colored leather on top does not get water marks, just the sole.

I will purchase Gentle Souls again.

These sandals are stunning.Recently took them on vacation to Hawaii and wore them straight out of the box.Very, very comfortable.Beautifully made perfect stitching, etc. Fabulous color more like a greige than straight grey. I bouth these sandals in grey in a 7.5. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 and figured since these had the enclosed back, I had best opt for the bigger size. I could not wait to get them! They looked SO cute.

But drat. the 7.5 was too small. I almost had to shovel my foot in it, and I have a narrow foot. Also, I could definitely feel the floor through the footbed. I had thought that with all the padding that was advertized with these sandals, that they would be comfortable to walk in even if they were flat. There is a separate heel piece and a separate forefoot piece glued to the sole of the shoe. I thought this would make the walk softer but it did not.

So, I was saddened but had to send the shoe back! I thought about reordering right away in a size 8...and I do believe and 8 would have fit fine, but I kept thinking back on the click-clack of the footbed hitting my tile floor. So far I have not reordered.

I have had bilateral knee replacements; hence, am super sensitive to how hard or soft the footbed of a shoe is. I think if I were not working with this glitch, I would have reordered in a heartbeat. Gentle Souls does make two different footbeds. The other type is softer than this type and I have two pairs of oxfords with the other footbed. Wish these had it, but they do not. Ah, well. Can''t have it all sometimes. I give these 4 Stars because they have the harder footbed and because they seem to run a half to a whole size small. Otherwise, they are beautiful, and if you are blessed with more normal knees and legs, I think they would be a heck of a buy and I would have a pair. We shall see, but for now, I will get their sandals with the thicker footbed!

I purchased the silver version of this platform with the sling back adjustable ankle strap for my weekly pole-dancing class.I wanted something that would be different from the regular black platform exotic heels.These are incredibly comfortable, and stand apart.They were received within a week of ordering them.If I were to name a negative, it is that the sequin material falls off the shoes pretty easily. Overtime, this may be a problem.Right now, it is only a small amount, but I will just have to see what happens long term.I would recommend these to anyone considering this pair.

Classic Flip-Flop

This review is for Okabashi Maui.I just figured out that I have the Maui style rather than the Classic style.I don''t see a separate category for them on Amazon.The Maui has multiple dots on the thong part, while the Classic style has "stitching" only on the thong.

This is my second pair of Okabashi flip-flops and this pair is much more comfortable than the first pair of Ocean two-colored flip-flops that I purchased a year or so ago.One flip-flop of the Ocean style in red and black broke at the thong part and I had to repair the sandal with Super Glue and part of a scrubbing sponge not sure how long my repair job will work.The massage beads are larger and harder and positioned differently and the arch support is more elevated, so they take more getting used to and may be too much of a good thing (reflexology) for some. The thong and side parts of the Ocean sandal are attached at the bottom of the shoe. I can''t recommend the Ocean style over this Maui style flip-flop.The Maui style wins hands down for construction, comfort and footbed design not to mention price. (Ocean style retails for $14.99)

I am hoping that these flip-flops will last for a while due to the uni-body construction.

These sandals are available at CVS for $12.99 regular price and often on sale.

The Maui flip-flops are extremely comfortable and a good choice for those individuals who can''t tolerate a flat "Old Navy" style flip-flop with no support.These have gentle arch support, massage beads, a contoured footbed and elevated toe rest area.

These flip-flops fit perfectly with the Futuro compression ankle support (Comfort Lift) that I need to wear right now due to slow recovery from an ankle and knee injury. It''s great to know that these flip-flops are a good alternative as therapeutic footwear for

hot summer days.

I am still loving these Maui flip-flops and they haven''t broken yet.I hadn''t worn them during the winter, but now even though it''s still a little cool for flip-flops, I am gearing up for warmer weather.Unlike other flip-flops with no arch support, these are wearable for hours at a time even for those with flat feet.Take it from someone who wears "pseudo Crocs" much of the time, these are so much more comfortable.They keep your feet cool and they are perfect for those of us who can''t go barefoot.I did make a few additions for comfort since I have very sensitive toes and I don''t usually wear thong style sandals.The thong was irritating the skin between my toes, so I wrapped moleskin around each of the thong parts of the sandal and I put some skin-colored moleskin on the footbed in the toe ridge area.It''s a good improvement.

I found the Maui style in turquoise at Fort Lauderdale Beach.They are lovely and perfect for summer tropical wear.The only thing that I noticed is that for extended wear on varying surfaces, the arch support and fairly thin footbed is inadequate.As we were walking around Key West up and down sidewalks and on cobblestones, etc., I started to experience foot pain and fatigue and consequently, it just wasn''t fun anymore to explore the streets of Key West.Fortunately I found another CVS and purchased a pair of men''s brown Surf Okabashi in men''s L (size 7/8) for $12.99.The sizing is comparable to the women''s M/L.I am not sure why size 7/8 in men''s would be considered large, but anyways...these sandals are heavier weight with more rubber between the footbed and the ground, so they can absorb more of hard surfaces they are also a little wider.The arch support, massaging beads and raised toe bed are more pronounced also, so the Surf sandals immediately rejuvenated my feet and I made it through the rest of a long day and evening of walking.For some, the more pronounced features of the Surf sandal may take some getting used to.

My recommendation for all you women out there with temperamental feet (flat feet and swollen ankles) is that you purchase both the women''s Maui and men''s Surf models in comparable sizes if you can find them. That way you will have both pretty and functional sandals. Both models in soft rubber have very slip-resistant soles. Your feet will thank you.These sandals are made in the USA and they have a two year warranty.

I have 5 pair of Onex shoes and LOVE all of them! They do run smaller than other shoes but big deal, just order a size up, come on ladies, we are all used to clothing being different in sizes, this is the same principle just in shoes. Onex sizes are really unpredictable. On the low heel wedges they tend to be a half size too small, but on the higher heeled wedges like this they really are a full size too small. This is really a pain when ordering online. Besides that they are the most comfortable summer sandals I have ever worn, while looking relatively nice.

I just wish they would get the sizes correct because I worry about ordering a size 8.5 I have never bought a shoe that big but my feet being 7.5 I really would have to because even 8 was a tad too small and I am an honest size 7.5. It kinda puts you outside your comfort zone to order sizes you have never worn online. But these shoes run a size small a word of caution so do order a size up or in the very least a half size up.

It''s wide and I have an extremely high instep. But these sandals fit like a dream, which is why I now have them in every color they make. Very hard to zip up and down so much so that my husband has to do all the zipping for me. Earthies Women''s Valencia Platform Sandal

These are very nice shoes I bought these because last summer, I bought this brand from Amazon and I LOVED them.While these are perfectly fine, I''m not as enthralled with them as I am about the previous one.There''s a funny ''arch'' in the instep of the sandal.That''s the main reason I''m cautious about them.Plus I haven''t worn them but once.My feet were fine but I always had the feeling that my balance was off.

I just love these sandals!The only problem with them, if I can think of one, is that the flower on them is so big for my small feet that they are difficult to wear with pants.But that''s just because I have small feet!Overall, I couldn''t beat the price!They are super comfy and I would order them again!

Toe Warmers Women''s Glacier 13" Waterproof Boot

I purchased a pair of these boots back in 2000 and wore them until they gave out which took about 6 seasons of constant winter wear (it was the zippers that finally nailed the coffin).I was so disappointed with the local selection around town when I went to replace them, that I decided to try the web and not settle for something that really didn''t appeal to me.I was THRILLED to find the same boots I loved at Amazon!They are ultra warm with Thinsulate, comfortable and tough.They are waterproof right up to the top and in Maine we get some pretty high snow drifts!They have good treads and no heel to speak of so you are walking completely flat for good balance.They even accomodate my lifts which sometimes makes shoe selection very frustrating for me.You won''t be disappointed with these great boots.

Be aware that these boots run really short.I wear an 8 and an 8 1/2 were still too short.Not the quality I expected for something made in Canada, that''s more like made in China.They were warm and I liked the style, the length just didn''t fit at all.If I went up a 9 then the heel would be too big.Unfortunately, the seller fails to provide any kind of reviews or information for the product on all of the alternate sites it sells on so that potential customers would have been aware of this.

The seller, ShoeMall, is also the absolute pits.When I sent back the size 8 (at my expense!) to exchange for an 8 1/2, they sent me a size 8 again.So, I contacted them, and they said they would send a prepaid return label for their error.So, I waited... and I waited... and I waited, no label.So, about every 2 weeks I contacted them that I had not received the label to which they replied that they would sent another.The last time I contacted them they didn''t even respond.So this is their game.I never received even one of those labels that they supposedly sent.Now they''ve dragged it out to 2 months later and I am forced to dispute the charge on my credit card to get my money back for boots that I can not wear.It''s not the first problem I have had a problem with them, but it will be the last since I will never buy from them again.

These are by far the best boots that I have ever owned. I have mine for 8 years and have worn them through New York winters each year. They run true to size and width and are totally waterproof. They are also stylish enough to wear with anything, including dresses and skirts. I am ordering a new pair now. I wish they came in brown or gray as well.

These are the best boots for warmth and to keep dry.They are great for wearing with skirts and dresses to keep my legs warm. They lasted me a very long time and never wore out on the outside.I only bought new ones because the foot part inside wore out.They slide on and off very easily. Never even used the zipper.
