I purchased my Dawgs from Amazon in July 2009...i love the shoe..its lightweight, comfortable.I have problems with my pain in my heels if sandals does not have good support and cushion..The Z sandal has great cushioning and support.

The sizes are pretty right on so if you wear a size 5 buy the 5 it will fit perfect after your feet adjust to sandals.

My only complaint about the shoes is that when i wear for long period of time, I start making this "suction" sort of noise when i walk..nothing i cannot live with but weird.

My foot measures about 9.25" and I usually wear a 7-7.5, sometimes an 8. I have a narrow to medium width foot, with semi-high arches. I ordered these in a 7 and they fit perfectly front to back, but the straps themselves are a little on the large side. My foot seems to slip forward in the shoe a bit as I walk, though the molding of the foot bed and the grip dots helps me to not slip over the front edge. I haven''t "walked" out of them yet, and they are quite comfortable.

They''re not as thick as I had expected (about 3/4" tall at the toe, and 1.5" at the heel, but they''re molded so you''re only standing on about half that.) I''m happy about this since they''re a little less clunky than I expected.

I got the Peacock/White and they look pretty much exactly as pictured. Maybe a tiny bit darker than pictured, but that could just be my screen.

I''m happy with my purchase, but they would probably fit better on a wider foot.

I have been looking for a tan suede pump for over a year now, so I was thrilled to find this. I read reviews of this shoe on various websites, and they all said it was either "true to size" or "1/2 size too big." Only here have I seen any reviewers saying it''s 1/2 size too small. I have been noticing that lately a lot of shoes seem to be running 1/2 size too big, so I ordered it in 6 instead of my usual 6.5, especially since the heel is so high.I figured I needed a snug fit. The length is fine, but the toe box feels just a wee bit crowded. If I had gone w/ a 6.5, I think the heel would slip off.However, the front is a little short, meaning there is a little toe cleavage on all toes (mostly at the big toe), and I do not have long toes. In fact, some might consider them on the stubby side.So, that is why I left off one star--beautiful shoe with a nicely sculpted heel, but the toe box is tight and short. Since the heel can vary by size, in case anyone is wondering (as I was), the size 6 measures exactly 4" at the back of the heel.

Any Charles David at this price is a deal and this one''s no exception. The Pompadour''s been a popular style for several years for good reason. It''s such a well made shoe with a classic style always current. From the plush, high quality outer (bought gorgeous red suede) to the ultra soft lining, to the cushy footbed. Have several pair and the fit does run just slightly large on all of them but it''s not even 1/2 size (more like 1/4 size???) so not enough to size down. I love that little extra bit of room with a four inch heel! It feels perfect no toe crunching. Nothing negative to say about this shoe except that my size wasn''t available in more colors!!

These boots pack all the style any princess of Alderaan could want, while also being comfortable and functional. It''s much easier to pretend that I am leading a rebel army when I wear these. Cozy and durable, they hold up well in different types of weather and the rubber / sneaker soles make it easy to make a quick (and relatively quiet) getaway from storm troopers. I can wear thin socks and stay toasty warm all day, too.

Admittedly, my coworkers frown on my new hairstyle and penchant for laser weapons, but they have to admit my taste in footwear is exemplary.

The zippers can stick a little bit, so take care when putting them on and taking them off. There isn''t much give in the calf or the toe, so order a half size up (these won''t stretch / break in like leather boots).

This boot is cute, but I knew before I tried it on that it was going to be returned. There was visible glue all around the toe and heel, where the rubber meets the fabric. That would be fine on a boot from Walmart or Target, but not on a boot I paid $150 for! I did try them on, just to make sure that the fit wasn''t divine and worth keeping anyways. They are comfortable, but not the most comfortable shoe I own, by far. The shaft was too tight for me to zip up. It might have stretched with time, but I was not sold to begin with. I am not overweight, but I do have "athletic calves".

I am a runner so have good muscle in my calves, these fit just right.I am slender overall however.Not tight at all.

I like that they are flexible and lightweight.I can wear these in spring/summer/fall for yard/barn work and they are not hot at all, and in winter they are just warm enough, but we have mild 50 degree type winters where I live. They are water resistant but not water proof.

I like the grip of the sole. I can also run with these on and have hiking is fantastic as they keep the rocks out and they fit more like a running shoe for me than a lumpy, loose rain boot type boot.The adhesive is there to avoid having stitched seams and more lumpiness. I think they are streamlined and lightweight because of the lack of stitching and I''ve had one pair already they have stayed together very well and have held up in all terrains, so whatever Salomon is doing with this seamless/adhered technology, it works well for active people.If you want heavy stitched, leather clunky boots, these are not your boots.

I think the only thing that stinks is they got rid of the zipper pocket with the newer model.It was so cute.And functional.Dumb change.

Last thing I get a ton on compliments on these even though they are modest in appearance. I wear them also to the beach with shorts and again, water resistant, sand resistant, not hot and they are also fully washable in a gentle cold water cycle and air dry over a heat vent without the insoles in.Very versatile and def. my favorites. I might get a 3rd pair at this price.I probably wouldn''t pay 145 for them, but 43 is amazing!

OMG, this is the most comfortable boots I have ever tried on! Just received it this morning and have had it on most of the day inside the house. I love these boots, pure and simple. Great style, look amazing, VERY comfortable. They''re light so don''t make you feel like you''re dragging around big clunky weights. I wear them almost every day. I will say however, that they would not be suitable for REAL cold winter weather....They''re fine in the 30''s but I would not depend on them to keep my feet warm in colder weather than that. We had a very mild winter this year, with hardly any snow at all, so they did very very well. For true deep snow and/or freezing cold weather, use something else. But for where I live they have been perfect.

The other reviews about their being very slender are true if you have muscular calves get a half size bigger.... If you like to wear really thick socks get a half size bigger. I have fairly skinny legs so I can make the thick socks work. The narrowness of the boot shaft is the only point of concern here if you''re considering getting them. If it weren''t for this point, I would have given them a full 5 star rating.
